Lightning Allocations Are Out!?

I just spoke with the Ford Lightning rep to switch my dealership and she mentioned that dealerships should know their allocations! She said she can’t see that info from her end, but that the dealerships should know.

That being said… please don’t bombard the dealerships with constant calls and multiple emails right now, or else it might drive more of them bananas and want to charge an ADM…

She also mentioned that the waves will be 1/5 and 1/19 and hypothesized that I would get an email on one of those days(5/19 reservation)

just sent a note to my buddy at the dealer, hopefully there is good news. I'm 14th out of 367 so it is borderline depending on allocation numbers.

Haha yes. So I switched from being ~#16 at Chapman to being #2 at my new dealer who isn’t offering the promo of Chapman, but at least isn’t gouging it’s customers with ADM and big doc fees. Best wishes to those who stick it out there!

Three weeks ago I probably would have emailed or called my dealer. At this point I’m just going to not worry about it, like posted earlier. Last thing we want is dealers knowing some will pay the markup and change their policy

Did they say how many the dealership would be allocated?

or maybe I misunderstood her, and she meant that the order of reservations were released to the dealers and that is what she was reporting… bummer if that is the case. Sounded more like dealerships should know how many they are getting based on their reservation and other sales numbers.

Okay, now I feel pretty good. Couple weeks ago I switched and sales person said GSM said I was either 4 or 5. Whew!

Great so the online option pricing configurator will be out at the latest on 1/5.

As a 5/29 reservation I'll have plenty of time to lock in my choice for MY2023 maybe 2024.
