But from what I've seen, the Starkey kits don't come with the switch/button to install in the bed, correct? So they only illuminate when you unlock via fob, or through the switch inside the cab.
If Ford releases an OEM Bed lighting kit for 22MY, I’m all in. Not holding my breath though. They screwed us by moving the bed lights into the Bed Utility package.

Completely agree.

Maybe the price of gas will plummet and I'll be able to justify getting the 2017 kit to test out! Lol

Driver side is on indefinite back order. I had to make mine. Plus you will have to run a wire to the BCM. From the driver kick panel to the BCM connector B
The passenger side was available when I got mine I ordered about 4 months ago.
I can give you part numbers Monday when I’m back in the office

also you’ll need to program the bcm
Can you expand on this additional connection? I have everything else I need.

Driver kick panel there is a connector. C238 Pin 4 white/Blue. It comes from the Headlamp switch. One side is populated the other is not. You need to run that circuit. It terminates at the BCM C2280E Pin 8

This is based off my truck a Job 1 21 XL. Yours could be different. I do not know if Ford kept it the same in 22

So I don't think they are the same and I am not sure if you can still help. I believe I found the connector, its above the hood release and grey in color with 30 pins. I found many pins with mis-matching connections, on the connector that I pulled out, 3,6,12,13,15 and 16 had no wires, on the body mounted side only 3,15,16,29 and 30 were missing connections. Hoping I have the right connector. I haven't found my way to the BCM yet...I am guessing the black box up in there a little more? Thanks for helping. I am new to opening these up...I didn't mess with the last F-150 this much, but missing these lights has me motivated.

I acquired some additional wiring information and was able to identify all the plugs and wires and that wire "CLN13" was already there and I tested continuity from the switch to the BCM. To help others, C238 is the beige plug in the drivers kick panel and plug C2280E at the BCM which is behind the pull away panel on the passenger kick panel (its part of that fuse box), the plug was at the top towards the front of the truck, it has 52 pins and they are all 22ga, most of the others had larger wires. I needed to remove the glove box and the tray above the foot box to access it. The lights still aren't working, so I am continuing to work this problem and will update this when I do. I have ForScan, but the programming doesn't appear to be doing anything.
