Or the ID4's so-called "binnacle"Hyundai has a patent for this but I haven't seen it in production.
The Koenigsegg Gemara is probably has the closest thing to what you're describing.

Since we can't be there with you Joe, how's it going? You ramped up to 1000 trucks a day yet? Would love to hear any updates on either numbers or stories of how things are moving through. Does it feel like everything's on plan?I don’t think so. I don’t see a way they could bring people through this plant safely.
Probably Still at 10 a day if thatSince we can't be there with you Joe, how's it going? You ramped up to 1000 trucks a day yet? Would love to hear any updates on either numbers or stories of how things are moving through. Does it feel like everything's on plan?
It looks like 200-300 per day based on the window stickers I've seen.Probably Still at 10 a day if that
This is a trick question. If Joe replies he’s checking forums instead of building trucks. If he doesn’t reply…he’s not being a good member of the community.Since we can't be there with you Joe, how's it going? You ramped up to 1000 trucks a day yet? Exactly, once i saw that Ford was forcing me to get a $9500 option package to get an XLT ER i cancelled my Lightning reservation and bought a Gamera. It’ll have a way better resale than a 1st gen Lightning!Hyundai has a patent for this but I haven't seen it in production.
The Koenigsegg Gemara is probably has the closest thing to what you're describing. A wild speedometer that spins with the steering wheel and LCD controls on the spoke. It'll only cost you $1.7 million which seems like a bargain to me.
I'm just messing around, but 2200 dealers with a maximum avg of 5 per dealer and a 47% conversion. We should all have our trucks within 30 daysIt looks like 200-300 per day based on the window stickers I've seen.
Based on the window stickers I've seen, it looks like they're on a 5-day schedule.@Pioneer74 said they were shooting for 1000/wk out of the gate. Not sure if they're working 7 days but on a 5 day schedule 200-300/day would be right on target.
You said you were joking, but let's run the numbers to see what this scenario looks like:I'm just messing around, but 2200 dealers with a maximum avg of 5 per dealer and a 47% conversion. We should all have our trucks within 30 days
What about the 47% conversion? Wouldn't that be alittle more than half of the orders vs the total invites in your break down? You said you were joking, but let's run the numbers to see what this scenario looks like:
2,200 dealers x 5 orders = 11,000 Lightnings
200 produced x 5 days = 1,000 per week
11,000 Lightnings / 1,000 per week = 11 weeks
So 11-22K Lightning orders should take between 3-6 months, which isn't too far off from what people are reporting for their build dates.
I didn't include reservations/invites in the calculations. What about the 47% conversion? Wouldn't that be alittle more than half of the orders vs the total invites in your break down?
How do you see the window stickers? It looks like 200-300 per day based on the window stickers I've seen.
