Understood, so maybe yours will come before those of us who aren't 🤞 I see (4) N and (2) Y dealer priorities remaining who haven't gotten delivery dates yet
I would love it if that happened. Only time will tell I guess. I'll sit here and try to patiently wait for it.

Looks to be the earlier of the two dates provided by Ford in their email to the customer.

Example, "Our current estimate for delivery to McClary Ford is bet‍ween June 17, 2022 an‍d June 23, 2022" from my email.

Funny, the CA website has less info for my order than the US version does. There is no delivery estimate that I can see at all on that site. And my dealer isn't showing either. I'm using Firefox.

Mike
Ya, sometimes it shows for a day or so then disappears, also I might have updated my tracker with your mention of the blessed event last Saturday in the tread, usually I can see it the same day as the report then 24/48 hours later it disappears, something else happens to over write the narrative statement

I'm a bit confused on why "dealer priority" has entered the conversation on when trucks get shipped.

Dealer priority, as I understand the term, only applied to those whom the dealer prioritized on the reservation list in rank order as outlined in the "playbook".

Once the reservation got translated into an order...dealer priority would have no bearing whatsoever on when you get your truck. Once that order gets into the system...that's a completely different level.

When your truck departs one of the many parking lots scattered around Dearborn and the metro area seems to be down to other mysterious factors only know to Farley's minions at the toy factory.

But "dealer priority" can't possibly be one of them at this stage. Especially since, if you talk to your dealer, they're probably as clueless as to when you'll get your truck as you are. When it arrives it'll be as big a surprise to them as it is to you.

Your dealer can up your priority level and it's supposed to make you get your truck faster. I don't know if it works or not, but hypothetically that's what is supposed to happens.

I can tell you that I didn't have a schedule build week like I had seen others back in late April. I went to my dealer and asked them if they could up my priority and a couple days later I was in the 5/2 build week. Now I have to believe that the priority worked because they were already into June builds going around before I did that.

Of course it didn't seem to be working on getting it shipped so far.

Okay, but...two things:

Was that what the discussion of "dealer priority" was about? Like as in what "priority code" your dealer assigned to your order? My dealer had a priority code of 19 for all their orders. I've seen the list. The highest possible for a retail customer order is a 10, the only exception being if the truck they ordered got destroyed on the way to the dealer etc. and then thy can put in something like a priority 2.

I thought the priority discussion centered around the reservation priority. And even if it doesn't, once the order is in the system (as in picked up on "Scheduling Thursday") whatever priority it went into the system as..that's what it was. It doesn't affect anything once the vehicle is "bucked".

Unless you know something I don't.

I'm not sure what they are talking about actually. My dealer didn't prioritize anyone for the lightning list. They left it as is. The dealer did up my priority code to 10 or 11, whichever the highest dealer code they can give. I don't remember anymore.

As I understood it, Dealer Priorities played into which Wave you were invited to. Those that were prioritized theoretically we're invited in earlier waves.

I only brought it up today looking over @TaxmanHog 's updated spreadsheet for both the 5/2 and 5/9 weeks, and observed it appeared those who indicated they'd been prioritized were the ones getting most of the Built/Shipped emails.

Dealer Prioritization, was last fall in pushing reservations to the head of the line in getting order invitations.

WBDO Priority is used to delay or accelerate an order into the view of the factory production analysts (systemic and human review) 99 ignore order, 19 default dealer submission, 10 urgent dealer submission)

Regional/zone managers can push it to 9-2, but still subject to the call of the Queen of Scheduling based on commodities and up coming production surge if SR vs ER or trim levels.

Once the truck goes down the line all these are moot, except maybe the disaster replacements, but then again, maybe not, they were already bucked ahead of the line to minimize negative impact from the delivery loss scenario.

Just my 2c based on reading the web and listening to @FordVideoGuy

I don't believe that was the case. I believe that every EV certified dealer got to prioritize their list of reservation holders, and of those, every EV dealer got their top pick an invite to wave 1. I don't think the dealer priority itself had anything to do with when your order got scheduled (to a point, based on the factors known about commodity constraints, the breakdown of how many were going to be made of what trim level, etc.). But once they went into the system and were put into the queue then unless they ran into something that caused a shift, the orders came out the way they were scheduled.

Now as to what happened after they left the plant and got parked?

Who knows.

Dealer Prioritization was a scam to begin with. Some dealers probably used it to make extra money and move people up. I’ve noticed that some dealer prioritizations haven’t placed an order yet or are in later waves. Pretty much dealer prioritization meant nothing other than keeping long time customers happy by saying “you’re #1 at our dealer, but we don’t know when Ford will send you an invite”

Congrats! Looks like it’s headed up to NoCal, bet it’ll be there by next weekend.

Again, it’s a weird system. 5/28 build shipping before everyone else
