F150 XLT 18" tire upgrade

I don't know much about the tire. I want to get more aggressive tires. What size of tire it can fit without any lift?
Or can I just put 2020 F150 Raptor tire and rim on it? I can get a pretty new set at low cost.

Don't know about Tow tech package but I know on max trailer pkg 17 inch wheels won't clear rear brake calipers

This should be in the 'wheels tires & brakes' section.

Your wheel wells can handle up to 33" tire without any drama/lift.

Whether you get there in total using an 17", 18" or 20" rim is immaterial.

When you shop tires, just keep the 33" part in mind and you'll be fine. Now, if you start moving your tires in/out with new rims and an offset... you'll have to start paying attention to the width... but anything from 8" wide (stock) to 10" is very safe.

the tires on the raptor are going to be too big. Go with a 285/60r20 or 295/60r20 if you want to go a little bigger. When you do that your tire dealer might put 50 or 60 psi of air in it. Drop it to 35 or 36. I prefer the BFG KO2, but there are plenty of good options. I like the Yokohama Geolander X-AT. Toyo and Nitto are both good options.

Anyone knows if I will have any issue with 295 with no level/lift? Any opinions are welcomed.

Thanks for your comment. I agreed with you. I changed my mind to either 285/65R18 or 295/65R18. 285 is only slightly changed from the stock tire. Not sure it worth the effort and money. Do you think 295/65R18 will fit without a level? Hope to see if someone did the same changes.

That’s going to depend on the tire.... for example the nitto trail grappler in that size is a 35” which will not work. What tire are you considering? (Sorry if you mentioned this in a previous post)

I thought it is about 33.1 inches only. Are you talking about 20"? Can you confirm? I have no favorite tires so far. Any good tire with the right size will do. Any recommendation?

If not, I am thinking of Goodyear Duratrac. The only worry is the road noise. Hard to decide with the mixed reviews.
