Reverse LED Light Kit For 2022 Lightning From Baja Designs

We just received our Lightning not more then 12 hours ago and we've already developed the first BOLT ON reverse light kit for these new trucks.

The factory reverse lights are not that great, let's be honest (they honestly never are with most trucks). This kit comes with lights, brackets and wiring harness making it a breeze to get rear facing light setup on your truck! Everything you need in one kit. This kit is a 100% bolt-on kit that uses factory mounting points and factory wiring (your truck must be equipped with a towing package as this kit utilizes the tow package wiring harness behind the rear bumper).

The included KR Off-Road extension bracket allows the lights to hang from factory bolts under your truck. This bracket is made right here in the USA out of 11 gauge stainless steel (and powder coated black) ensuring a lifetime of durability.

Simply bolt on the lights under the bumper using the factory mounting points, disconnect the trailer plug behind your bumper, install the included quick connect harness and you're up and running!

QUICK TIP: You can alter the height of the Lights by flipping the Baja Designs mounting bracket upside down. This will bring the lights closer to your bumper or further away.

• 2x S1 or S2 Lights (Your Choice)
• 2x Vehicle Specific Mounting Hardware
• CrystaLux Wiring Harness
• Trailer Quick Connect Harness

Again this is a 100% bolt-on kit that requires NO splicing of wires. It's 100% bolt-on. Again you must have a tow package on your truck since we're utilizing a quick connect harness behind the bumper (you'll still keep functionality of your tow kit of course!)

What's the difference between S1 and S2 options?

S1 are smaller then S2. S1 are about as bright as S2 Pro believe it or not though since they use different LED diodes

I took the tail light out to test for circuits when I realized... the tails HAVE no reverse circuit. Then saw the reverse lights are in the tail gate. Kind of a neat place for them honestly. But I still want more light back there when reversing.

There are more backup light that will be revealed when you lower the tailgate.

I noticed those with the tail gate closed bleeding through. Those are not exactly reverse lights but cargo lights (neat idea too)

Had that concern as well. And I've rarely been impressed with a tail light set up, they all suck and barely put out any light. And I've seen so many of those little strips under the tailgate that never seem to last, so this is awesome.

These are quite reasonable priced, and look to essentially be plug and play.

They do on my Bronco wired the same way. I recently wired in flush mounted Diode Dynamics SSC1 Pro with red backlight. I’ve got a set of surface mount SSC1’s for the Lightning, under the bumper is fine on a street driven pickup.
