I would only order the Fisker if I can refuse when I see it in person. I'm a Jan 2020 reservation also. Puts me at like 3000 or so. They are supposed to allow first 5k to order launch edition. Starting in July. It's going to be built in Austria using Magna I believe using catl for batteries. I guess tesla uses catl and Magna is a builder for hire. I'm just going to feel it out. I have been skeptical the whole time but who knows. Many were skeptical of Rivian also. I won't order if I can't walk away if it's not what I hope it is when it's time for delivery.

Magna is great for very limited Boutique production like the Ford GT. Fisker is going bending the proverbial spoon to get Magna modest volume vehicles at their target cost.

As a new car company they can lose money for a while. They would have to. They priced the cars at 2019 prices and are sticking to it. It took tesla like 10 years to make a profit. I get more emails about buying Fisker t shirts than updates on features of the Ocean. Not real confident in them but might give them a chance if they can actually deliver. That might be a flipper if they actually follow through before to many other big manufacturers make the switch to electric. Only if I can walk away if it's subpar at delivery.

Good news, I received email this morning that my XLT SR was built. Tracker says built 6/29/22. Estimated delivery is now 7/27 - 8/2 via body of email.

Yesterday my salesman text me the week of July 13 for delivery but then never responded to anything after that. Maybe he knows more about it or maybe he just transposed the numbers. I'm gonna keep trying to get it out of him but will plan on end of July.
