Mine is back to not working again. I have a message on my Ford Pass app that says my “Connected Built-in Navigation is complete and ready to use in your vehicle. Enjoy your complimentary trial. “. It goes on today I have a three year trial. That was after deleting and reinstalling my app and vehicle. It worked awhile and now is gone.

It is complimentary for 3 years.
Apparently thats only if you get the "connected built-in navigation" for the sync 4 12" screen. My Lariat has the 12" screen, I didnt pay for "connected built in navigation" so my trial is only for 90 days. My dealer is saying Ford will be charging something close to $200 per year for navigation. It then reverts to "offline" navigation. I will just use my CarPlay.

No problem, initially I thought since I didnt pick the connected built in navigation that I wouldnt get navigation at all. But all 12" infotainment screens have navigation and the ability to "upgrade" to "built in connected navigation".

I haven't used it yet but in the built in Ford navigation there is an option to select routing with trailer. Not sure if it's a big deal in most states but here in New York you can not tow a trailer onto a parkway. I don't think waze, google maps, etc have that feature? To me, that feature alone is worth the fee.
