So as you know I took @rlbussard advice and asked my dealer to give the vehicle exposure to RM. What follows is my Dealers response and my subsequent response to my Dealer:unless our orders hit a truck tomorrow they aren't hitting this weeks eta @bosox8. like u a lot of my enthusiasm has evaporated and I just don't care that much. my salesman is sooooo concerned I'll give him a bad review - after 90 days of waiting to ship I've grown tired of him telling me I'll forget about all the time that has passed when I take delivery. no I won't forget, but he won't get bad review, unless he continues to dismiss our less than average experience.
wondering when this miss again will I wait another 8 days for a new window?
my regional rep from what I'm told doesn't want to call ford logistics. just blames it on transport issues. which we know there are pocket problems at train depots, yet we see many trucks shipping east and west without a problem.
@rlbussard how's it going for you ?
Dealer Response: I assure you, your truck has not been forgotten. We can see that your truck is still sitting at the plant. It’s waiting for the plant to release it and then a carrier will deliver it to the dealership. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
My Response: Thank you for your reply. We can certainly sit by passively and hope this truck, off the assembly line for over 2 months and "officially" built 3 weeks ago gets shipped sometime soon. I would prefer you at least raise the level of attention to a regional manager to get some more information. I am on an online F150 Forum and there are 46 members in this group and all but 5 of us have received our vehicles. I am certain to experience yet another rate increase and just as certain I will get my 4th revision to my expected delivery date in two days time. All I'm asking is to ratchet up the interest level besides checking a VVR which is providing us no new information now for over a month.
