Finally saw a new Silver F150L on FM 1431 Cedar Park Sunday. If I had had more time I'd have hunted the person down and peeked in it.

I was driving east from Dallas yesterday and saw one sitting on the dealer lot in Canton. Their website lists it as available, but it has the blue window sticker of a mannequin.

And still has his ICE truck... When we didn't make the 2022's, we picked up a powerboost, which we will likely trade back in when/if we get the 2023, or it will be the ICE racecar tow vehicle and a Turo rental.

The 2015 has 140k miles with 5.0 and I tow a fair amount plus have offices between Tulsa and Houston that i drive to few times a month. I'm still not sold that the charger network will work for me. Traded the wife's MB Bluetec which was running $100.00 to fill up. Looking at another MB or the Navigator

Leo was my sales guy. There was a Rapid Red Lariet waiting pick up, a Platinum Star White that was dealer buy back, mine and they said they had one more waiting to come in. A total of 4 retail allocations for 2022. Wonder why they would BS me as no reason to make up a story. Oh well.

Should have sent my reservation to Leif Johnson price them low and out they go. Wait, they don't say that anymore do they? Covert said they only had 7. Mine is 2023 for sure he said. maybe probably sort of.

Better be on a few charger apps and get rfid cards. I was at an EA in Waco waiting for a Rivian that couldn't get to charge. The guy waited an hour to get free charging. EA turned all the chargers on free. Thanks EA.

My truck is a Lariet Star White Metallic Tri-Coat, came in last Monday, and I finally picked it up this past Thursday. They also told me I was the first retail delivery, but…

I was back at the lot on Saturday morning (wife’s Expedition in service), and saw the Rapid Red up front with the yellow tag in window. Must have just missed you.

BTW, is a “dealer buy-back” someone who refused delivery? I was a hair’s breath away from refusing mine, too…

Come to think of it, on Thursday afternoon around 4PM your truck showed up outside the back doors still with factory window markings, etc., before lot prep it seemed. It was the first I got to see that blue - looked *really* sharp.


Mine was on other side of the bldg from the Rapid Red. It was delivered on Thursday..my son went and test drove it Friday and I picked it up on Saturday. Yours looks good in white with the dark wheels.

Basically, the TCEQ was handing out $2,500 to the first 2000 EV owners to register for the program. The program filled up in maybe April or May.

The program allowed dealers to submit a registration on behalf of customers who had ordered but not yet taken delivery.

My sales person told me about this back in January, said he’d take care of it, but when I ordered in early Feb he didn’t do it - despite doing it for other Ford EV buyers in the same time period.

In other words, *my* sales person lost me $2,500 by being inept.

While *your* sales person, depending on when your order was placed (relative to the program filling up), appears to have not told you about it through ignorance and/or ineptitude.
