This is likely something that very few will do anything about, but I can see it being a major gripe. And that is the lack of a 12V socket in the center stack (we get the 120V breaker) and lack of the 12V socket inside the center console (don't know if non-powerboost still have this).
I for one like my 12V dual port fast charger (Qi) that I keep inside the center console and just pull out the cords through the wire notches in the lid. Others may prefer using the plug in the center stack.
Now we will be limited to the USB-A and USB-C charging speeds/limitations, and they may or may not support higher voltage charging. Additionally, they may try to establish a data connection with our phone which I find annoying. Can anyone verify the charging rates on the ports inside the center console, and whether they try to connect as data?
I figure that behind the center console ports they must start with 12V as the source, and if I find the ports annoying and/or too slow to charge, I may consider trying to put a 12V socket in there. Similar to what my old XLT has, compared to what is inside the powerboost console:
