Chatted with customer service and they confirmed I am on a hold but they aren't sure why:
" I see that your vehicle is currently in production in Flat Rock, MI. It was completed on 2022-09-07. However, there is a hold linked to it. The details of the hold are not listed but this may be something your dealership can provide more information on. Its current ETA for dealership delivery is between Sep-20-2022 and Sep-26-2022. You can also visit https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking to track the status of your order anytime!"

I'm in the 8/22 build week with a blend date of 8/26. I've been unsuccessful getting any info from Ford other than it's in a chip hold. Meanwhile trucks later in my build week and in yours are getting built and shipped. I'm worried that once the truck is set aside for a chip, it's sort of ignored while chips are being installed on trucks coming down the line.
So there doesn't seem to be any logic to this process. Good luck, at least we know we will get one, unlike the other 200K+ reservation holders that may have to wait another year (and pay $8K more).

Hopefully not. I seem to be at least. Plenty others have made it out of chip hold. Somehow I am in the "lucky" few.

@TwinDragons was only 17 vehicles ahead of me. He should have been at Ramp 51 also. So eventually they get back to the on hold trucks I guess.

What's weird is it says I'm built but my dealer pulled a vvr and it says Im still on hold too. I really think they are behind on updates and the real trigger to move out of chip hold status is the predetermind events in thier system. This is speculation but I think non of us will get out of chip hold officially until the truck is marked as shipped., when they scan the barcode during loading the train or something like that. If someone has more insigth to the vvr here is what they sent me monday

It seems Vehicle Visibility isn't removing the "chip hold" notation after the truck is completed.

Once the unit is labeled "Built" and Released for Shipment, whatever module or component the vehicle is waiting on has been installed and the truck is complete.

Now, I may be wrong, but I have a feeling that every Lightning coming off the line is transferred directly down to Flat Rock because whatever the truck is waiting on, and it might not be a module containing chips, is in short supply and is being installed as they get them.

We will compile a list in VINs. Can you do your best to get them to the front of the line? I believe that Weather Dawg should be at the front of the line, but after that?? Mine ends in G10050. You're the best if you can make this happen

If I had any influence on whose truck is completed first, I'd be driving mine today, my friend.

It seems I had to wait forever to get a production date for my February order but since production week 8/29 and blend day 8/31 Ford has really stepped it up.
Early this morning (4 am) received a built email (no picture) followed an hour later by a shipped email.
ETA is still 9/29-10/6.
Hopefully, this is a sign that trucks delayed in earlier weeks get pushed along.
