My dealer added $1098 for fabric and theft protection and are trying to act like I knew this the whole time and act like it's required.

I'm fighting it but not sure it is worth it.

I would insist they NOT modify my truck with chemicals on the seats, or etching on the glass.

Exactly. Working on getting a hold of the GM to complain. It's annoying. They have lied a few times. Told me no mark ups and then the finance person told me then mentioned the add-ons before and it was there when i made the order. I said I never acknowledged it and it was not on my Ford order page.

I'm probably on that train too. My dealer is in Middlebury VT. We probably ride the train to somewhere near Albany at which point you get on a car carrier going south and I get on one going North for 120 miles. Unless my truck rides the train to Boston and then rides north east for 200 miles.

I've read that Albany seems to be an unloading place for a wide area. Would like to see an overhead picture. Does anyone know the exact location?

Estimated Delivery Dates just got pushed from 9/13-9/19 to 10/7-10/13. Still not shipped.

Ugh.

That said, much like I never believed the super-aggressive dates I was originally assigned, I also think these news ones are a bit of sandbagging.

Hopefully I’ll ship soon and see new dates a little bit sooner.

Seems like once they’re shipped, they’re getting to NJ pretty quick.

That said, if there’s one thing the whole experience has taught me it’s that I don’t know anything about anything.

The rail depot for CSX is in Selkirk NY. It looks like a mini version of New Boston, though thoughtfully New Boston railyard is north south, not NW/SE so it screenshots better.

My delivery date got moved up to 9/20 to 9/26 instead of 10/4 to 10/10 so I'm hoping that's a good sign? Seems to be all over the map in this thread.

looks like it! I have read lots of people say that the tracker skips shipping dates. Order tracker never updated as well for shipping/transit

It is doing better today, ORDERTRACK depends on the ford SHOP trackers operating in a stable fashion, which appears to be working much better this morning, hopefully this continues and data flow is more reliable
