Well, maybe there is hope. Instead of going south, they sent it back north to DTP. But my delivery window changed to an earlier date. In assuming it will be loaded on a truck with other vehicles destined for my dealer.

Mine slipped another 3 days back on delivery estimate. Now it
shows 10-3 to 10-9

My dealer is low balling my trade . 1k less than the local Toyota dealer and 3.2k less than carvana. Too bad carvana won't pick up from my location. I need to get the truck 100 miles south. If the difference was 1k, then for the convenience I would certainly take the lower amount, but for 2.2k I think that it is worth it. I may have to take my day off next week and rent a uhaul car trailer to tow the tacona to Queensbury NY so that carvana can take it. My wife thinks that it is crazy to do that. Maybe she is right, but maybe it is just the first of many adventures in the lightning.

KBB cash offer was 8.9K. The dealer I took it to from there offered me 9.5k. I took it an ran (trade in value on KBB was 10k)

Used prices are falling . The kbb dealer said they needed to check on prices before they could give me an offer on the car. The Tacoma is a 2017 TRD sport manual transmission with 10650 miles. It does truck stuff...just not a lot of truck stuff with two other cars between 2 drivers. Kbb 32xxx (but the dealer wouldn't purchase from me on Saturday. I am waiting for a price from them), carvana 323xx, Toyota 30k, Ford 29k. The low mileage and manual transmission make it more difficult to price, particularly in a falling market.

Good news, bad news. The tracker still shows my Lightning in Dearborn. But the dealer says it was delivered today. With shipping damage.

Still shows Oct 1 - 7 (which is rapidly approaching)... but at least it hasn't been bumped back. On a train somewhere in USA headed to California...
