Went with these for the more aggressive tread and specially the 3PMSF rating. Stuck with the OEM size as I didn't want to give up any more range than I had to, and these are similar weight to the OEM AT option (the Hankook Dynapro AT2s). I'm also keeping the factory rake for the same range saving reason, plus don't want to change accessibility of the frunk too much. Really struggled with leveling vs not, as I can't stand the raked look, but concluded it's something I can get used to for saving range and easier frunk access (more for the wife, than myself 😁)

Looks great.

With all the talk about range, is there a hit? How much?

Not sure yet, just drove home from the shop. Will report back after a few hundred miles.

I have these same tires but in 285/75R17 on my Bronco Badlands. I took a round trip to Boston today and the computer (usually off by .5 mpg) said I got 20.7 mpg on a truck rated for 17 mpg highway. My Speedo is not corrected for the extra 1” in height. Hopefully this is indicative of a minimal range hit with these Toyo’s on a Lightning.

I had Toyo ATs on my Cummins and I loved them. They lasted a really long time, wore really well, and their handling was great. When it gets time to replace the tires on my Lightning, I’ll be taking a hard look at the Toyos again.

They have a 65k warranty, which is better than some of the other options I considered, good to hear your experience. I've made a couple short trips today and am impressed by the feel relative to stock so far. My drive home from the shop was mostly highway and I was very pleased that they were not as loud as I was expecting for this tread. Coming from KO2's on my previous truck, I expected much, much more noise. But they're barely louder than OEM.

Update - used the truck this weekend for an off grid wedding. Took lots of measurements climbing from 500 to 5000 ft loaded with gear and even hauling a port-o-potty for about 15 miles (granted, super light weight, comparatively).

Key measurement was heading home this afternoon on the highway (55-75) while hauling about 1500 lbs of gear in the bed. Pretty impressed to see this kind of efficiency over that long of a stretch. Pretty equivalent to what I was getting before with stock AS.

Good to hear! Glad it’s only minimal difference. Im more concern about the road noise. I had 18 Raptor with KO2 and they were very loud.

I had KO2's on my 14 F150 also, and they were WAY more noticeable/louder than these. I'm really happy with them so far, after ~500 miles

Do you plan on a level kit as well?

No. I did have my 2014 leveled, but decided not to on my Lightning. Given reports from others with leveling ALSO resulting in a range hit, I didn't want to get hit twice. I think I can deal with the look in exchange for keeping a little more range.

Are you still happy with the Toyo AT3s? Looking to swap out for those as well and buy another full size wheel to replace my dissimilar spare.
