When are you going to be able to reveal your battery decomposition / testing info?
The full report will probably be next July (we do monthly updates for all Level 1 members) to all members of the consortium...only $85k a year for any company interested but not available by law to individuals. Just keep an eye out if I sell my truck before my normal 3-year cycle (I'm really liking the new GMC Sierra EV for 2025)

Thanks. I have a day 1 WT / RST reservation. Haven’t owned a Chevy in decades!
No way I'm buying the Chevy EV Avalanche for personal use even if I have two reservations for them (might get one for our testing)...I will wait for the GMC EV Sierra for my personal vehicle.

I saw a totalled lightning in a Facebook group that was struck by another F150.

is there any visual indication in the lightning the brake lights are on when slowing to a stop using one pedal driving? tesla has this on the screen. i always wonder if the guy behind me knows i'm slowing down...
Well I've definitely seen the brake lights come on demos even when using one-pedal drive, but I hate one-pedal drive and never use it and wasn't using it at the time of the accident. When the impact occurred, my foot was onthe brake pedal.

Driving around for a week now and, quite frankly, enjoying the acceleration of the Lightning more than is strictly responsible, it is clear that other drivers do not expect a pickup truck to be anywhere near as quick as these trucks are. Other drivers will do perfectly reasonable things, or even completely irresponsible things, that they would usually get away with because "that truck" that's coming down the road won't be anywhere near them by the time they're out of the way. But then we might be WAY faster than then they expected. That cognitive dissonance is certain to lead to accidents.

Be careful out there!

people either are jerks or they have no clue about driving. So just give yourself enough space to account for that. It is easier to do it in an f150 than a tesla :)

Sorry, it was on a Facebook feed that I can no longer find. But trust me. When I say totaled, I mean totaled. Head on collision that amazingly resulted in no injuries. The truck was unrecognizable. Not sure you'd want something from this crash.
