The Lightning will be replacing a Prius. Gonna see what the dealer offers, but I'm expecting an extreme low ball offer so I'll probably just private sale it (or hold onto it for long road trips).
Yeah get prepared for a lowball. I have a 1500 RAM I wanted to trade/sell and the dealership i bought it from offered me 22k while carmax offered me 25k and carvana offered me 27.5k. I'm going through the steps for Carvana now to say the least...
Sounds to me like it is actually on a CSX train to East Brookfield (as is mine). From the CSX tracking phone number I got this info a few minutes ago for mine. "Arrived at Walbridge Ohio on Jan 26 9:06pm, Schedule to arrive East Brookfield MA Jan 31 3:45 PM". Would make sense that it takes about a week to truck it up from MA to ME.
Yeah that’s my concern as well. From what I’m seeing here Pro buyers are getting the $7k private offer and/or $5k price protection, but I haven’t heard of anyone getting $9k price protection, either at the time of the sale or promised as a rebate when the dealer receives it from Ford.
I think we were one of the first groups to have the extra 4k added on top on our sticker price. The ford site still shows the older 51k MSRP, its just my sticker that has the new updated price.
