Ford Sync System Updates/Fleet Mode

I noticed you have a Platinum so PAAK should be available. I had to have Ford remove my vehicle from Telemetrics and after that was able to schedule OTA updates (no OTA updates have
passed in the last two weeks). I'm still at 3.5.4 and SYNC 610. My dealer had to perform TSB SSM 511135 to activate PAAK on both my Platinum and Lariat (with 511A Package).

I may need to call Ford back on the updates because the dealer said they can not install the earlier versions unless they have failed updating via OTA.
Seems strange the Platinum in at SYNC 610 and 3.54 with a build date of 3/31/22 and the Lariat is at SYNC 713 and 4.2.4 with a build date of 4/28/22.
Both trucks run great but the screen access is completely different.

I have included a screen shot of the Sync info on my 2022 Lariat. I have looked everywhere for the type of update information you have included here. What am I missing?

I was at the same Version you are showing (First and Second line in the photo) and the dealer did update it to version 610 but would not go to version 713.

YES - My Lariat is at SYNC version 710. Screen layout is different but all systems should be functional.

I am in the same boat on sync version 539. Sounds like dealer trip is required.

Yes, it appears so. I was just talking to my dealer and they indicated it would have to be connected to do the update.

When I questioned the the current version status they actually pulled my truck up on their system and saw where the update had recently failed.

Not sure how I feel about that feature. It has its positives and negatives.

That's because the dealers A) don't remove fleet mode and B) can't remove fleet mode. When the dealer submits the sale information it gets flagged and removed on the backend

I’m pretty sure it has more to do with not wanting the information out then not having it.

I have been fortunate that my local dealer is very customer centered and has responded quickly to my concerns.

Can't get OTA but that shouldn't matter
