This is the section of the sticker that indicates transport method, remember all will show CONVOY, but the RAMP ONE code tells you the rail terminal the load will be dropped at, the rail cars are batched and loaded with multiple Ford products leaving Dearborn (ICE & BEV) for common drop points. The rail strings are assembled into a run so that they can efficiently cut and run as they arrive at midway drop points.

Thanks. And not to belabor the point, and perhaps it's useless to even guess, but if my blend date is 9/13, what's a reasonable time frame for expecting delivery?

All LIGHTNING window stickers show CONVOY, regardless of how the initial rollout from the plant happens, generally under 300-400 miles from dearborn could go directly by CONVOY (18 wheeler or similar car carrier) but to destinations further out will leave Dearborn on a rail car, transit times vary and often what seems like a short rail haul can still take time especially for routes heading west and south west, as they pass through "BLUE ISLAND" a massive rail interchange in Illinois.

We have a section under "TRACKERS" on the forum header bar which links you to train spotting techniques, after your truck is marked "SHIPPED" contact your salesman or the online customer service folks to get your rail car information, this does not work for (direct convoy runs).

Ah I didn't know this, thank you! I figured because I was close ours was convoy regardless, but knew times were pretty variable. I figured things will be delayed even more due to negotiations. Here's hoping Ford does the right thing for their workers!

Please realize that I'm just a Ford Fan moderator, I do not have internal production information but have developed a thorough understanding of how production and shipping has occurred for the Lightning over the past 19 months.

Coming off the resumption of production and restart of shipping, it is going to take time, best I can say is that if there were no departure backlogs, transit to NC (entire state) is 7-14 days.

I also have a lightning with 23Aug blend date (that I'm letting the dealer keep) that still shows "In Production". Think it'll be delivered by Halloween?
