Website...no emails yet...although a Text Agent pinged me Saturday...checking back with him today hopefully (I was not available to spend time with him, and his shift was ending).

First time posting, but I have been lurking and reading everyone's updates here for a few weeks. So I figured I would give an update on my own order. I had all but given up hope, but my tracker flipped to Shipped overnight!

Blend Date 9/17/23.
Scheduled week of 09/11 (originally 9/04 but it got pushed)
In Production 09/20/23
Built 9/29/23
Shipped 10/08/23 (I am in the Denver area)

Currently shows an estimated delivery window of 09/24/23 - 10/07/23. So like others I seem to qualify for Ford's time travel special delivery.

It is a Lariat ER, star white metallic, fold down running boards, spray in bed liner, max tow package.

I am very excited, first time full EV owner (my wife has a Volvo Plug-in hybrid). Filled out Sunrun form to request charger be shipped to me. The Volvo can't use the CCS style, only J1772, so I am just storing the charger for now until the day comes when we replace my wife's car with something newer.

On a side note, I emailed my sales rep last week to ask about the $7,500 Q4 incentive people here have been discussing, but so far they have not replied. Not super impressed with the dealership so far, but hopefully all goes smooth with the delivery.

Nice! What were your in production and build dates?

The original "In Production" date was 9/11. I got notified that it was actually in production on 9/17. The "built and preparing for shipment" notification was October 2 and "shipped" on October 8. Funny that it feels like it was a much longer process than that!

Also, for the $7,500 tax credit, all the dealer really tells you at this point is that the Lightning is eligible for the full tax credit. But federal rules for the credit say that only vehicles with an MSRP below $80,000 are actually eligible. The estimated delivery date showed up on the tracking page, but for me nothing showed up until I went to Built status. Originally it showed 9/27 - 10/03. Then when it went to shipped status, it changed to 9/24 - 10/07. Obviously not correct in either case for me.
The $7,500 I mentioned is different than the tax credit. Apparently it is money off instead of the low financing rates. There is a post with a link to a YouTube video where a dealer is talking about it (for me it is page 26 of this discussion - Long McArthur Ford).

My XLT 312A 9/4 Blend 534/845 Spray in with fold hardtop flipped to SHIPPED last nite...but with estimated dates of 12/29/1989 - 01/11/1990 (not typos)...so that is not confusing at all. LOL Apparently the trip to Portland, OR involves a black hole pitstop.

For possibly 8% of range in the best condition.... I wouldn't wait a couple more months for a 2024 just for that reason !

Status went from Built on 10/1 back to "Order Recieved" in July. Hoping this means some movement to shipping. I think we have seen this temporarily for a few people.

I am assuming they have built the ER before the SR, perhaps run all other colors before the black one and the production process is not on a first come first serve basis.

But they did advertise a October delivery and it seems less and less likely, even if I ordered on the first day of the order bank re-opening.

Any encouragement or advise is welcomed! Thanks for the great community!
