my XLT avalanche was an 8/21/23 build, they said it would be delivered between the 12th and 18 October got a call on the 13th to pick it up. I loved the truck and the color.2 days later and 50 miles I noticed that there was a coolant leak. It is currently at the dealership waiting for new radiator. It will take a week to get the part. This is very disappointing!!

just curious, was it delivered with the battery CSP still open?

Am I the last one in this build thread, whose truck hasn't been built yet? I know some just got theirs delivered and some waiting.

My truck still says in production but my dealer and ford chat said it’s built waiting to be shipped

I got an email from Ford. But it was the we apologize for the delay as they are just as frustrated as I must be.

My dealership reached out to me saying my truck is delayed because of the chip shortage. Not sure if that accurate or not.
But then they offered me another lariat lightning 2022 though and in red(no go on color) but with all the discounts it's down to $66k from 81k msrp.

Not factoring I also get the x-plan on top of those discounts. Really hoping my truck is delivered by October 31 so I can get the retail customer cash bonus.

The last I checked I believe that the Lightning doesn’t qualify for x-plan…. I’m eligible for x-plan as well so was hoping for additional discounts. My understanding is dealer invoice and MSRP are almost identical.

When I spoke with my dealership and shopped around because I'm not using one near me. They told me they do honor the xplan along with any additional discounts. Now again that's up to the dealership themselves. But I got mine in writing saying they will honor it.

Good luck, just be prepared for the possibility they are wrong…. my dealership honors x-plan too but what I’m saying is the Lightning is not part of the program.

Just got off the phone with a Ford rep using the number in the Ford Pass app; she said mine is on an Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad car but couldn’t see a car or tracking number. The estimated date of delivery is 10/31.

Since the GPS on my truck has synced up with my Ford app my newest hobby is tracking where it is at hour by hour. Yesterday it was driven (??) about 25 miles to Flat Rock, MI to what appeared to be a trucking company. Now today it is about 15 miles back North (but wasn't driven) to the Ford Michigan Assembly Plant. Anyone seen anything like this before? I'm guessing my truck is on a convoy but went to the Michigan plant to pick up a Bronco or Ranger also coming south?

A related question. I was surprised to see my odometer go up 25 miles yesterday when I assumed it was driven to the trucking company (it was at about 50 the day before). My odometer is already at 75 miles and it technically hasn't even been shipped yet. Is this normal? What have other people had on their odometer when they picked it up from the dealer?

Might have been chosen for extended road testing, they found an issue, fixed it and retested.

Hopefully your sticker has the post price reduction values, and yes they should be honoring these values with no additional markup.
