Congrats & thank you for sharing the opportunity to track your build! My XLT arrived to my dealers lot from the train station last night and I got to go see it! It had been sitting at the railyard about a mile away for 12 days before transport could be arranged. I got a 6.09% rate for 4 years with $39,000 down payment. They are keeping the truck until Tuesday morning to get it prepped, detailed, updates installed etc. After that they are delivering it to my house. Thank you @TaxmanHog for all your work, just like @designthis mentioned. We appreciate you! Can’t wait to get behind the wheel. Picture attached of my Level 2 as well; Avista in Eastern Washington pays for the charger, labor, and half the wiring costs for a level 2 install. Running wire up from my panel, across the garage, down, then out of the building cost $400.
I'm not waiting technically since I cancelled the order with my dealer, but the truck still went into production on 8/31. That's where it has stayed for nearly 3 months.Guess I'm last in this thread still waiting on their truck.
Absolutely agree and that is what I would do if I hadn't already bought a 22. Almost 6 months later and even after the price drops, incentives, and tax credit on new trucks, it was still a decent deal and I love the truck. No regrets!I've given up watching the July & August builds stuck in IP, something is wrong, I encourage folks to start looking at local available inventory rather than continuing the torturous waiting.
Ford should be doing this automatically. "Sorry, the truck we built specifically for you is unavailable. Here are some trucks in your area that match your build." Or just build them a new one off the line. Just one more reason this whole reservation/order process is beyond repair and just needs to be rebuilt from scratch.I've given up watching the July & August builds stuck in IP, something is wrong, I encourage folks to start looking at local available inventory rather than continuing the torturous waiting.
Seems like a great idea, I don't think they considered the logistical nightmare that has been affecting production like it has the past 3 years.Ford should be doing this automatically.
