Well kids, I abandoned my Pro order! 11/9 production date and still not a peep regarding it's whereabouts!
My dealer got in an identically optioned XLT (same color too) and swooned me by knocking 2k from MSRP. Production date was 11/26 - AFTER my order- go figure! Between that and the 3.9%/60mos financing, I'll actually save a bit of money over the life of the loan (compared to the 6%ish/72mos I was expecting). I would bet that, by the time my Pro order shows up, most of the incentives will be less appealing as Ford will just use Uncle Sam's point-of-sale instant credit lure buyers through the door.
So, at least I didn't have to compromise on features and have a truck now, it's one trim up, and maybe I saved a few bucks long-term!
