I'm not going to lie. Right now, I kind of hate you. And time zones. I'm pretty mad at them too. But don't worry, I'll get over my jealousy soon.

I started trying to reserve this at 6:30 am, but due to the evil of time zones, folks in the Eastern, Central, and Mountain time zones got the jump on me. And the Ford website wasn't letting me get through to the page to reserve mine. I just got error messages about the site being too busy. By the time I finally got through, it was about 7:04, my reservation number is 5064, and my estimated ship date is in May, not April.

Whine. I COULD BE DEAD BY MAY! Whinge.

@tommolog any plans to test this with your A2Z adapter? I'm especially interested in knowing if you can initiate a charge under a Ford in the app and charge your bolt or rivian instead.

I'd be interested in know if this works as well, but I'd bet a large amount of money that it wont - if its using the BO network to bill, then it must be validating the VIN to ensure that the vehicle is registered on the BO network so that Tesla knows what account to bill.

Ford really should have just mailed out paper order forms for us to mail back in. I don't think Ford is quite ready for this internet thing. It seems like everyday @Ford Motor Company finds a new way to chip away at the goodwill they have built up over the years. The next announcement needs to be that the CTO has been fired.

Yea, I do feel for you... I have been on the opposite end for a bunch of Apple product launches that always favor the West Coast it seems.

At first I thought there might be a chance, but I agree. Most likely won't work.

Every EV should be mandated to have the same plug and every charger should be able to charge every car. This is a big government F....ck up this should have been a mandate by law.. Also every EV should be mandated to come with the 220-110 charger cord. $500 for a charger cord after paying $50,000 or more for a car is just robbery. Also if every EV could charge another ev would make sense too.

We would not have the NACS plug if it were up to government. NACS is there because Tesla needed it to be efficient, scalable, reliable, and inexpensive to implement in order for them to survive. None of those things are government attributes. Government is there to protect the status quo and slow innovation that threatens the status quo. Chargers aren’t $500 anymore, shop around.

Looks like if you do it thru the FordPass App it works.

Navigate to: Vehicle > Charging > Blue Oval Charging Network > Connected Services

and the Reserve your Adapter should be at the top. I just did it and it worked fine.
