Need help from anyone with leveling kit and bluecruise.

Hey Guys. I installed a leveling kit in November. Ever since my bluecruise would ping pong at any speed.

Long story but I added Comma AI self driving. I am having the same issues with the comma AI unit. It ping pongs bad. At first. Any speed above 55 it would ping pong. I have data logs and a guy from f150 forum is helping me sort through the issues. At first we tried changing some code. It improved slightly. I could get up to about 65 70 before it would ping pong on straight roads. It drives perfectly around curves.

I just got the truck re aligned today and I found out the shop that lifted my truck did a crappy alignment. So after the re align it's better but it still ping pongs.

I tried blue cruise again and it's like it's the same issue as thr AI. So for sure I don't have to get the camera aligned. It has nothing to do with that. The comma AI has its own camera and I can calibrate the system at any time. Both the comma and the ford system are having the same issues leading me to believe it's something to do with the alignment.

Does anyone with functioning bluecruise have pictures of your alignment settings after the lift that you can share with me? Especially if you have a lariat with a tow package

I have the Eibach lift kit. Truck ping pong before the lift and after. Did TSB 23-2073 to address the ping pong. Now it doesn't ping pong, it just drifts out of the lane without intervention half the time. So... Win?

Good info. Thanks. Since this tsb is for reprogram I don't think it will help me. Do you have the paperwork after the lift? If your alignment specs are on it can you share them with me?

Mine was ping-ponging before and after I did a 2.5" level. IPMA calibration procedure helped tremendously. You can do it with FDRS or FORScan.

Edit: For bluecruise.......not sure how comma works.

My bulecruis before was fine. Do you have any alignment records after the lift?

I have an Eibach lift, never had an issue with ping pong but @Ford Motor Company disabled my Blue Cruise so I am unsure if it ping pongs now.

Do you have an alignment print out that shows your settings. It's typical after a lift.

I might have it in my truck. I’ll have to look. It was over a year ago. I do recall that I had difficulty finding a shop to do the alignment as the lightning was new and no one had the “specs” on alignment at the time

Yes, I had it aligned at work right after the alignment.

Were you able to get this figured out? I just had a leveling kit on mine and it ping pongs so bad. The blue cruise eventually cancels because I have to grab control.

I have a 2" leveling kit and no ping-ponging, it drives quite well. So it can be done...
