Last OTA attempt was 6.1.0 last month, but it failed due to a release note error. Not the first time I see that and idk why it happens. Nothing you did wrong or could have done differently; you just gotta wait for it to be resent.

Yea, that update is pretty old. You were actually sent the next update due for you 4.2.1 on 4/27 but it failed trying to install one of the files. Hopefully it gets resent to you soon.

Thank you! I received a message that day on my dash saying the vehicle was un-drivable due to failed update - it eventually cleared after I parked for some time.

How long would you suggest I give it to try again?

Your guess is as good as mine. There is not way to force an OTA to be sent to you.

Not at all. I posted the screenshot to include the error code for you to see. It just says "failed to install file" and then goes on to tell you which file it was, but that is it. It is virtually impossible to diagnose why an OTA failed from what we can see in PTS.

The modem needs to be activated or you will not have any connectivity or get any updates. Warranty hasn't started yet. Did you buy it or are about to buy it? The modem needs to appear as retail authorized and not fleet.

Thanks! I bought the car today and will pick it up tomorrow. I suppose that the modem won't get activated until I set up the car with Ford Pass.
