Has anyone bought this? I had the ARB dual compressor hard mounted under the hood in my Tacoma that worked great for airing up the tires after off-roading.

One of the problems with the direct from China vendors is that they will use pictures of the genuine products and then send something that bears little resemblance.

The pictures above are of two completely different products, so it's dubious that they came from the same manufacturer, they look similar but if you look closer there are enough differences that there's the possibility that they aren't even close in quality or performance.

Also, in my opinion both products are overpriced.

Here's someone who actually received the product but there no real comparison or reliability report:

Thanks for the Link Pedaldude!
Without a some sort of actual usage reviews I don’t think I will take the risk on one of these alibaba compressors.
I’ll probably end up with the Smittybilt 2781 compressor, which is most likely produced in China as well...

I use the viair portable compressor listed below. Always sits in the bed of the truck, have had it for 5 years and still works like a charm to air up big KO2s (minus some surface rust on the base of the compressor).

When choosing an air inflator/compressor, the speed at which it inflates a big tire up from 15 psi to 40 psi is crucial when you are trailside and ready to hit the road again after a long day.

Depending on what you want to do this will fill the bill https://www.extremeoutback.com/#myCarousel. 100% duty time have run them to power tool on the trail and air up run horns and they take abuse. Had them on the last off road rig and plan on purchasing them again. I had arb and this blows it away. if you are just airing up viair is good enough . If you want hard to kill fill 20 tires and impact gun etc . My 2 cents ;)

You don't need to go with an overpriced ARB but do stay with a known brand name and do some research. That being said I would stay away from anything knockoff from China.
What are your intended uses? Once a year, maybe, to fill up a low tire or every weekend to fill up you and your buddies tires? Run air tools?
