Sync wireless connection is unstable message

A pop up keeps appearing saying my wireless phone connection is unstable. Has anybody had this and know how to fix it. I have an android?

I get the same message about every other time I am in my truck. Drives me nuts. Android as well.

It seems to be random on my truck. Some days it's there, others, it's not. It doesn't appear to make any difference where my phone is located inside the truck.

When you get the prompt, does'nt it ask you to add it to the "Network Exception" list?

It does not. It briefly flashes the "phone connection is unstable " for about 2 seconds, and repeats the same message about every 15-20 seconds. Drives me bananas. Then other times, after changing absolutely nothing, it does not flash any such message. Technology...gotta love it.

If I had my truck back, I could answer that. As it is, 11 days in the shop and counting. But I don't remember seeing that screen, so probably not. Nice find and thanks for sharing!

I have found it only comes up when the android auto screen is not up.

My Android and Android Auto has worked just fine, though wired, on my last several F-150s. The wireless on this one is just the cream on top. Working flawlessly.....thankfully. I have received 2 OTA updates within the last 30 day, most recently last night.

I agree, once I figured out that the message doesn't pop up when actually using the android auto it has been working amazingly. This is the first auto I haven't had to keep repeating my speech to texts and tell it who to call 3 times before getting it right.

I just started getting this error message. Doesn't happen every time I drive the car, but when it does it flashes for 2-3 seconds over and over.

The day the error message started popping up I had just updated Andoird on my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Anyone else start experiencing this error message after an Android update?
