Star White Lightning with window tint
Owner said -What percentage tint is that?
Agree, even 2012s around town still look great.I learned from @RTanton that “the whites allow for more TiO2 pigment and are more stable with exposure to our strong UV”, we’re in California. I do know the star white is tri-coat (well that’s easy it’s in the name, stupid for me to state that ) and I believe that and the make up of the pigment contributes to price.
The main reason for me choosing it is my 2011 was a similar color (I think they called it platinum white way back then) and to this day looks amazing.
By sheer happenstance I looked at a video of my truck (Atlas Blue) on my garage video today. It appeared the same way. My suspicion is that it has to do with the LED lighting. Does some very odd things to pictures and videos.Cool ! Thanks.
It looks like the upper light bar is out, driver side, on the corner?
Or maybe the camera is just not picking it up ?
Everyone seems to charge more for this color, I can't remember where but I think I saw one that was $1,300 for the color choice on a fairly normal car.Maybe a dumb question, but what makes STAR WHITE METALLIC TRICOAT cost $795 more ?
Those wheels are fire!MUCH Better! We put some new wheels/tires on the Lightning today. These are 20x9 Niche Vice Wheels with P275/60R20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s. And of course some new Gorilla Lugs.
