Picked up “sparky” the other night from Jess Ford in Pullman WA.
Loving it so far.
This was our first D/C charge, mostly just to see how it works.
My work commute is about 45 miles each way so should charge mostly at home

I’ve had a Rivian reservation for two years and they weren’t letting us have a truck because we aren’t near a service center. Had done a ton of research on Rivian / Lightning, and the Lightning being a full size F150 just seemed like a better fit for us.
Just happened to see a platinum lightning at Joe Hall ford in Lewiston Idaho and went for a test drive.
instantly loved the truck and went back later to buy/order a truck and got weird attitude and was told that they would not be selling any more EVs and that they were angry at ford for making them install chargers and participate in the ford EV program.
One salesman even went so far as to put the truck down expressing that he thought they were “a joke”. They went on to make it clear that if I bought one somewhere else they would not service it, warranty it or even let me use their one pathetic level 2 charger that they lock up every night.
The interesting part about all this is that on the initial test drive, the salesman talked about how they were all in on service, chargers and sales which turned out to be a complete lie.

So basically my closest dealer sucks.
We went to Jess ford in Pullman WA and had a great experience!
salesman Joel was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with and we took a truck home that night.
We love everything about the truck so far, the room, crazy amount of features like CarPlay, my wife is crazy about the frunk!
So much to like about it and looking forward to driving it more.

TLDR: loving everything about this truck so far. If you live anywhere near here and want a lightning, (or any ford vehicle) check out Jess Ford in Pullman they are awesome!

Sooooo glad we did not buy one from Joe Hall in Lewiston.
