I'm a bit confused after reading multiple threads about cameras in motion / OTA updates / etc. (I know they can be enabled a job2 truck easily). I have a job1 truck and 360 degree cameras that I want to be able to use in motion. What do I need to do right now? a specific OTA update version...

I believe the XLT with a 40/20/40 seat has the flip up storage under the armrest already. At least my 2021 does. I believe the XL did not. Sounds likely that part could fit on an XL?

Interested in more opinions before I purchase one of the options :)

After 1.7.1 applied this morning I can still turn on automatic updates. So I guess I am lucky :(

Thanks! I think this really helped me. Have a job1 truck that has never gotten an update and followed this by hard rebooting twice. Re-schedule the update every day. Voila I got 1.4.0 on Feb 1st. And now have 1.7.1 pending on Feb 7th. So this may help others out who aren't going the FDRS route...

The new FordPass updated app (iOS) told me yesterday (Feb 1st) I had update 1.4.0 pending. First time I've ever seen anything like that (had been considering buying the USB so I can manually update since I've been stuck for months...) Told it to update from the truck. Says it was successful...

Ah thanks. Guess I will wait until then. If it doesn’t fix itself in Feb will just do it myself ??‍♂️

I’ve got no on-board power and below lariat so I’m not missing a ton of features (securialert, the lights/horn honking, bug fixes?) but yeah I still agree that this is a bit ridiculous.

I may be headed that way. $150 to fix it myself ?

Did you get this fixed? I'm in the same boat where it doesn't show it's on. Have tried re-installing the app already though.

Can somebody help me :) I have a job 1 truck built around July. I'm in Canada. Checking my truck only says it has Power-Up 1.4.0 so I am way behind. VIN is: 1FTFW1E8MKE02174 Anything that can be checked or anything I can do to get it to update?
