cameras in motion on job1 truck

I'm a bit confused after reading multiple threads about cameras in motion / OTA updates / etc. (I know they can be enabled a job2 truck easily).

I have a job1 truck and 360 degree cameras that I want to be able to use in motion. What do I need to do right now?

• a specific OTA update version? (willing to go the FDRS route for this...)
• just FORSCAN changes?
• both?
• impossible?

It seems as long as your apim software is at 21146 or higher and you make the applicable Forscan changes you will be good to go. I had originally thought the ipma needed to be updated but that has been proven wrong

1.7 was supposed to update the apim to 21146 if I'm correct? I'm on 1.7.1 but no idea what my apim is actually at... but that is promising if I only have to do forscan

Look under settings to see what version of Sync you have. Below is what mine looks like. If this or better, the Forscan changes will enable the cameras at speed.

Ah didn’t realize that was apim version there thanks.

I’m in luck and have 21146. Forscan here I come!
