Ah so it seems, too bad there is not a way to have the software find out the dependencies and report back what bits need to be flipped to enable certain options.
Ah same thing I found out after testing.
Next, I was looking at 734-01-01 and enabling DHL leveling and dynamic mode but unsure if this is working. I will need to wait for next night drive to see if it actually levels and has glare free enabled
Has anyone tested if the camera and map based dynamic bending works on US roads?
734-04-02 first bit set x4xx? I see in the glare free guide we don't change it, so I didn't try it yet.
mine is 2x press on fob or just 1x press inside to open or close. but it is picky and sometimes if I step away too fast the walk away lock tries to lock it while its moving and it gets mad and beeps at me.
In the winter once snow gets on there I foresee using manual mode
I have had this happen a few times on the 24' Flash as well. I thought it was an update at first but confirmed with FDRS truck was up to date.
Must be some other bug or glitch, I see the ICE F150s have it as well.
I have the 100a Clore unit and I had an extra PSU power cord from one of my 1000w computer PSU. So I just used that power cable for the unit, I will never turn it up close to its maximum draw, nor do I use it for charging any batteries. It’s worked fine so far.
or you can buy a new cord like...
Don't fret too much over the USB flash stick or hard drive. Looking at the specs of the CPU/SOC used in the Sync 4 system it looks like the actual hardware controller itself is only USB 2.0, along with only an 800mhz ARM processor there is only so much speed to work with. Even if they did...
I have the Bosch MasterTech 2 I got on sale from one of my suppliers that was trying to clear them out for 1100. Bosch makes the VCM3 for Ford/Rotunda and this is the same unit just a different color. The driver included even lists the VCM3 in the files.
It takes 45-55min on the IPMA depending...
I got the 10/100 ESP with 0 deductible for around 2200-2400 I will have to check the sheet for exact number when I get home.
In my case I just told my salesman that I would buy the ESP if they gave me as close to X plan/employee pricing as they could, and didn't push any of the other extra crap...
On my 24' there is a software switch on the pro power screen that enables leaving the plugs on after the truck is turned off.
However, I have not had a use case to test the pro power yet. I have the generator plug on the house modified and ready to go just waiting for an outage to test it haha
I believe there was an XLT without the led lights in that year but not sure, would have to consult the order guides.
I turned it on in my 24’ flash with forscan and it was definitely worth the time. coolest vehicle feature blocked by stupid red tape as usual.
Just posting to confirm the glare-free mod works on the 24' Flash as well. Thank you all for the time invested in this!
Also I see there is an option to enable phone as a key, however with no RFA module in the flash trim I assume this wouldn’t work.
Got new version installed, cleared old data out as usual when upgrading.
What day(s) do you usually see F150 updates drop? with MachE it was always Saturday for me. Just wondering if its the same on the trucks.
PAAK is standard on lariat and up for 24. Flash didn’t come with an RFA module sadly to support it. I checked and double checked with MikeG as well.
oh well it’s a small feature that sometimes i would have to reset with the Mach e anyway when it acted up.
I got my flash updated all the way the other day and its showing 1270 sync build. Not sure if that is out for the other years though.
And I had to do the first APIM then a GWM followed by the 6gb second APIM that I assume was 1270
I came from a Mach E GT that was totaled out, and got a Flash last week. Of all the features, I do miss PAAK the most but that is about it for the long run.
My previous F150 was a 2010 lariat and had issues with the power sliding rear window (it exploded) the moon roof developed leaks about 4...
