On mine the ride quality is very good over road imperfections. Many of our county highways here have heaves and dips in the road way and they are soaked up and damped very well. Not unlike my previous Jeep grand cherokee's. The independent rear suspension is way smoother than any live axle...
Easiest option, no re-wiring, re-use the 60A/240 circuit for the FCSP - and reconfigure the FCSP for 48A instead of 80A - no need to buy a different charger. That gets you up and running, with still reasonable recharge times.
If you need a way to charge while waiting for the FCSP, have your...
Picked up the truck last night, it is worth the wait. Great driving experience, smooth, refined, fast. thanks For all the support here through this journey.
@TaxmanHog here are my updates
Production date: 05/17/2022
Built Date: 06/02/2022
Shipped Date: 06/05/2022
Delivered Date: 6/20/2022 - actually arrived by truck on the night of 6/16
At least it does not hurt the mileage. I have had good utility with the roll up fabric covers, good privacy and roll up very nicely out of the way when full bed access is needed. I could use the few miles of range for more aggressive tires (y)
Update - went to visit the Lightning yesterday. All looks good, still needs PDI and detail. They won't have it ready until Monday, as it is their first EV and they want to take some time.
Found the tesla joke in the frunk (y)
Overall really nice truck, a little low riding after HD trucks...
My dealer is asleep today:rolleyes: just got the email and tracker showing it is delivered (North TX above DFW). Should be changing the avatar picture by tomorrow evening - going to be trading/selling the bronco and ram 2500 for this truck.
The bronco has tons of character, but is just a...
This is a big deal in driver stress, only the best HD trucks can come close to that. Great test to watch, really makes me excited for using the truck outside of commuting. We have 7-10k horse, car (enclosed) and utility trailers that we use close to home (within 50-75mi), this test gives me...
I used this call in system - actually recorded the output so that I could play it back and transcribe.
Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123

3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update
I tracked my railcar ttgx981264 with the bnsf voice response system and it said something like placed at industry on 6/11 1pm. I hope that is the ford rail drop at alliance near Fort Worth. The only other stop was in salem IL on 6/8, after the initial load at Dearborn.
Will find out for sure...
My tracker changed from ’awaiting shipment‘ to ‘in transit’ will check Tomorrow with the dealer for rail car info. I have a good feeling it will beat the current 6/30 ETA by a week or so.
Update - Shipped email came at 3am today.
For a reference point, the texas limit is 25% on the front windows. That ends up noticeably lighter than the factory rear window tints. So you are on track with 15-18%. I will admit the last couple of vehicles I have left untinted, and have enjoyed the better visibility at night.
One tinted...
My built email popped too. 5/17 prod date, 6/2 built. 6/30-7/6 ETA to north TX. Looks like we are rolling for this week's crew.
I better get my 48amp charge station installed this weekend to get ready.
My 2dr non sas badlands manual got around 18mpg in mixed city and highway driving. Added Sasquatch wheels and tires and suspension and it fell to the low 17s. Power is good, but mileage is just weak, even if you try to drive it easy.
The cool factor, and off road ability is just off the...
