I try to give Ford the benefit of the doubt when possible.
I certainly can't on this.
It's ridiculous, but I bet if you could just get access to someone with the necessary authority, you'd get the discount.
Problem is, nobody cares enough to make the effort to get that OK on your behalf. And...
I think it is and is isn't.
I mean, I live where there's an F150 in every driveway. It's a Texas Camry, so to speak.
The missions range from getting worked every single day like a packmule, to "it's my wife's truck".
The Cybetruck could get it's butt handed to it by some F150s, and it would...
OK.
I give.
But I'm pretty sure 99% of the Americans that buy vehicles from ICE dealerships know exactly what I mean by dealership sales shenanigans. So I also think they know that I meant about Tesla's selling model in comparison.
I don't own a Tesla
Never been to a Tesla forum
Been...
Oh, you mean when reserving a future vehicle for potential purchase.
Yea, not so likely ANY manufacturer can guarantee an exact purchase price. Of course very few manufacturers produce vehicles that people get in line months/years in advance.
I'm a bit torn either way regarding Tesla's approach.
While it's an economic heartbreak to see it totaled, their fabrication methods have resulted in vehicles that broke the records in crash tests. Literally raising the bar on scoring.
I don't have one to benefit from the added safety, but...
I wouldn't live long enough to put that many miles on a single vehicle, since I spread my driving across multiple cars/trucks.
But I do fully expect my EV to be the one least worrysome if/when it's a high mileage vehicle. On paper they certainly have advantages regarding.
Hope it pans out to...
If you want to know what a Lightning is REALLY like, go to the folks that actually drive them.
If you want to know what a Cybetruck is REALLY like, I think you would need to do the same.
Fans without personal experience have every right to their opinions, of course. 😉
I am absolutely enamored...
I will never forgive you for posting that video.
Or........
I hope all the predictions of Tesla fulfilling the real buyer demand in one year is true.
Cuz I WANT ONE!
(I will still have my Powerboost)
So what was the cost difference on the hardware necessary for Adaptive Cruise Control/Lane Keeping VS Bluecruise?
I ask because I thought it was basically the same necessary modules other than the addition of the interior infrared nasty eye scanning wicked witch components for Bluecruise.
If...
The 2021 ICE F150'rs are currently receiving renewal offer for 3 years $600
It's a fair price, in my opinion, IF it were polished up over the original 3 year subscription. But the progress to improve the product has never materialized.
The early excitement that Bluecruise created on its...
No offense intended, but I've seen a few pictures of F150 that are crash damaged, and as fixable as they might appear to be, it's amazing how many are deemed totalled instead.
So totaled is totaled for a CT or an F150.
I have a battery and a chorded leaf blower.
Obviously the battery one is more versatile. But the 110V cheap Harbor Freight blower is insanely more powerful. Not even close.
I keep it with the RV for clearing the porch and roof and the truck.
Love that dang thing
I think one reason I have warmed up to it since the first time we saw it in 2019, is my affinity to Military Science Fiction genre in Audio Books?
I've listened to about 200 of them and so I think my brain is already comfortable with the image overlap? 🤣
I can clearly see a UNSC Spartan...
By far my favorite thing about the Cybetruck is how it has turned so many things on its ear.
I love disruption.
Sure, It can bring with it a dose of anxiety or pain, but the progress made in its wake is usually worth it.
The Cyber Truck is going to influence the pickup truck of every...
I personally am impressed with how far electric vehicles for private citizens have come so quickly.
A decade ago it was barely even fringe. Extremely rare to ever see one at an intersection.
Now they barely turn a head and are routine to see daily all around.
But nothing says progress...
But wouldn't software make it possible for the rear wheels to behave as locked?
I'm guessing that there's a lot of potential flexibility if there's multiple motors to go around.
