I hit 195kw yesterday at the EA station in Indiana....right before the truck was like "nope" and shut it down.
Longest sustainable rate I have ever had was 182-185kw at the new EA stations at Meijer's in Kankakee IL and Sams Club in Rockford IL.
Typically, I am low 170s like other on here. I...
I saw your post earlier (and the MT article) on the Lightning with the AeroX topper. I have been dabbling with aero improvements on my Lightning here in Chicago as well. I did a drafting video (on semis) on my tiny Youtube channel and then I am working on a follow-up video to see how open bed...
Agree with you on historic Tesla app/charging reliability. But I have to point out that was with basically every car/user also being in the Tesla ecosystem...not cars from other OEMs which might reduce that reliability number a little. I hope not though!
Definitely a few of these examples in Chicago. Perillo BMW, for example, does sales at their original downtown location but has bodywork and some light mechanical stuff removed to a different facility.
For real, I was beginning to wonder why my truck was not updating and if it was a problem just for me since the truck was imported from Canada to the USA. I wondered if maybe the truck didnt like being on a foreign network or something, I dunno.
Maybe now I can finally get the battery SOC % on...
As a Lightning and Tesla owner, I agree with you on this one. I look at it as a free coffee and carwash. I also like hanging at the dealer bc I am weird so....
Came here to post something like this too. Plug into ProPower, wait a couple minutes maybe and give it a try. I should really keep one of these and regular jumper cables in the truck at all times.
I am guessing people want to have the adaptor in-hand on day one of the Tesla Supercharger opening up to CCS. Otherwise, they might be waiting longer when the charging floodgates open and everyone else is ordering too.
I do have the Max Trailer Tow package, yes, and I have also heard that is a factor.
FYI, once I saw the weight limit specs for ICE F150 wheels vs Lightning f150 wheels, I decided to stick with Lightning-specific wheels because otherwise that inferior spec would be on my mind especially if ever...
I just bought the truck used and I am not sure how many miles on them. I would guess they are original so 12,100 miles or so.
I want smaller diameter tires for offroading; I want more sidewall so when I air down I get a wider footprint and more bumpy-terrain compliance.
EDIT I was able to trade with another forum member. Lariat wheels no longer available.
I want to get 18 inch Lightning wheels, either the Pro or XLT ones I mean.
Willing to buy and maybe willing to travel for them. If you want to trade them for my 20-in wheels that came on my Lariat, even better.
