Yeah, I am in the same boat. All the "fees" add up. Environmental Compliance Cost, Nuclear Construction Cost Recovery, Municipal Franchise Fee, Sales Tax. Last month they added $120 to my usage bill. Usually about 20% adder on average in my case.
Thanks! That is exactly what my VW looked like. What is funny is that I am 6'5" tall and had to fold up with my knees around my ears to drive the thing. Also had to wear running shoes, as the VW was a clutch and the footwell was so small if I wore basketball shoes I would hit 2 pedals with...
Man, I've got it good down here is Georgia. Georgia Power lets you charge between 11pm and 7am for a rate of 2.1 cents per kWh if you are signed up for the "overnight advantage" plan. So basically I can fill up my truck for $2.75 (131 kWh X 2.1 cents equals 275 pennies). Of course that...
I've got a HUD in my Hyundai Palisade, and got to say it is one of the things I wish Ford had included in the Lightning; after all my Lariat costs nearly double the Palisade. The other major wish is the blind spot monitor camera that activates in your instrument cluster when you turn on a...
okay, did the lights off/on trick and still got the "ding ding" occasionally. Then disabled the navigation guessing where I want to go, and haven't experienced it since. In my case it seems to be that was the fix. YMMV.
I too have an occasional "double ding" with no warnings on the display upon start up. I will try the lights off/on first, although they are still in automatic position, and seem to be working. If that doesn't kill the double ding, I'll move into troubleshooting the embedded navigation. I...
I did the same paint pattern as SneakyPetie78 shows in post 18; anywhere that is white in his photo is what I had painted Anti-matter blue. However the part that appears to be gray in his photo I had painted a gloss black. It looks like it should have looked from the factory. I've had it...
Will say that a few months in, that the Plasti-Dip got killed by bug guts on a road-trip. Definitely not the product to use. You can still use the instructions to take the grille off, but get the grille painted, don't Plasti-Dip it. To the products credit, it did come off without damaging the...
Did basically the same thing, but in Antimatter Blue. I got a "friend and family discount" and only paid in the $200-$250 range. Everything is cheaper in the South!
I agree that the lightbar still bother's me, but not enough to do something about it...yet. Keep hoping somebody will come out...
Just for the record, I shared the data and presto! I can select charging % again, just as described by invertedspear in post 5, under the energy tab. Had to cycle the truck on/off for the changes to take affect in the app, and close and open the app as well.
Now to decide whether I want the...
Funny, I don't have the "start" charging button, wonder if its because I have driving data and vehicle location turned off? I get a pop up stating Energy Features Disabled when I hit the energy button at the bottom. Here is what my screen looks like:
Charge to 100% Button:
I know it used to exist, but I can't find it anywhere in the FordPass app...I'm running v5.02.
Did a software update kill it? I've probably used it 3 times previously.
I don't use the Charge to 100% button much, but when you want it, you want it. Is there way to...
I have an ER Lariat with the same Hankook AT2 tires as original poster. I also have a tonneau cover and mud flaps. My tires are inflated to 36 per door jam sticker. At about 70 mph, I average 1.9 -2.0 miles/kWh.
For comparison, I usually get around 2.3 around town. I've gotten as much as...
I like my running boards to protrude a bit. Then they can act as a "bumper" for at least the front doors of small cars and suv's, as the bottom of the door will contact the running board before the top dings your paint. Helps that you lifted your truck a bit, as it will catch more vehicles...
I can personally attest to this. My wife just got in a minor fender bender in a Publix parking lot (she's fine). She was driving down the isle and some 17 year old kid was attempting to cut across to save a couple of seconds. They hit decently hard as the kid didn't even touch the brakes...
I
I'm with you on this one- same tire, same issue. Edges are in rough shape, but tread down the middle seems to be okay. Need to purchase a depth gauge and report back. I only keep mine inflated to 38psi, and just crested 15k miles. I am looking to replace my rims and tires anyway to make...
