Why do you feel the need to trickle charge the 12v daily?
I will say I had a frunk problem once and it was AFTER I did some FDRS updates and had removed the frunk cover to get to the jump points for the power supply. Once I was done, I put the frunk cover back on and secured all the clips. I...
My phone (and one MacBook) have taken flight from the console to the back seat floorboard on several occasions cause I keep forgetting not to put things on the top of the damn console
Scout has a LONG way to to go before it could do that. By the time Terra/Traveler is available, Rivian will already have the R2 in people's driveays, which could be a game changer if they can maintain the 45k pricepoint.
Also...VW is the one reviving the Scout brand....and VW is the one that...
Or how about those who bought a '23 after the price hike BUT before the EV price crash AND they put the 80k cap on the tax credit AND we had to deal with tons of TCU software issues...oh AND dealers were asking more than MSRP?
Yea, no one should be pissed but me!
This is interesting. I've seen tons of complaints on here about the wireless charger but I use it daily and while it's certainly slower than a cable I have had no problems. But I do have a Platinum and there is a fan. Thought everyone had it!

So does anyone know what the actual issue is and what modifications are made to the updated adapter to resolve the problems?
I mean I have to use mine this weekend, what should I watch for? It getting hot? Slow charge speed?
Has anyone actually damaged their charge port by using the Ford adapter?
Yep, there's nothing consistent here...either with OTA or FDRS. All of you have nice pretty new icons and I don't even have an APIM update available in FDRS yet.
FWIW I also did the IPMA update with two Clore 2320's and it was a nail-biter for the entire 2.5 hours as the voltage hovered around 9.1-9.8V the whole time. Never again.
The iPhone app never crashes on me. Watch app is sometimes slow to respond but that’s all I use. Never have bothered with fob.
Fordpass is the largest battery hog on my phone though.
I use the wallet for all my home door locks and agree it would be way better than Bluetooth. Probably not...
Same happened to me in my old truck. Had one of those pouches from Amazon worked great then one day in the summer I realized in horror that I could unlock my door and start the truck just like anyone else off the street. Key had been sitting in the pouch in the console for months.
No, it...
So I bought an FDRS license yesterday to get the APIM update and the new icons.
To my surprise, I had a TON of updates available but APIM wasn't one of them. I only have a 20amp power supply so I knew to stay clear of the IPMA. I proceeded with the PCM, ABS, SOBDMB, SOBDMC, SOBDM, BECM, GFM2...
I did this last year when I traded in the iPhone. Got in the truck and used the passcode. Logged back into FordPass when I got home.
As long as you don’t forget your passcode it’s really a non-issue.
I’ve only had to use the key fob for service.
This happened to me this weekend, first time. Drove 100 miles tailgate down with a large load. Parked, unloaded but didn't put up the tailgate. I went outside for something else several minutes later and just as I stepped outside heard the tailgate locking closed. I don't carry the fob, only...
