Found a truck that is optioned very close to what I am looking for except it has the larger Tow mirrors - I understand the advantage related to towing, but assuming I will tow rarely (could always change) are there any disadvantages to these mirrors?
Talk with Discount tire and they likely will swap these out - if you do this look at the Nitto Terra Grappler in 275/65r20 to also save 18#'s per tire for a better mpg and smoother ride
I don't have the link but I did recently watch a youtube video of a person that had the 20" sport wheels on a non lifted 2021 and said they fit w/o mods nor rubbing - my primary concern would be inside against the UCA etc - but a small .375" wheel spacer would solve that if it was an issue (Bora...
Sorry to say I lost it when yahoo decided I no longer needed to use their email account!
Here is a link to a Toyo tires load table that is similar to what Nitto had sent me a couple years back (one note though is that Nitto told me the table they sent was specific to my truck - they asked for my...
I'm still waiting for my truck, but the more I see posts and discussion am leaning towards getting non-LT tires and sticking with a size that fits w/o the level - possibly do a rear block removal to reduce rear rake - tires from Nitto are available in 275/65r20 and 305/55r20 that are slightly...
Implying you need ~ 33.5" tire to match the speed/odometer calibration - also implies that a stock truck warranty will expire quicker than it should  truck looks good with there tires
But that is NOT for an LT tire - the typical pressure for LT is much higher - on my last truck I contacted Nitto for pressure and they provided a pressure table based on load - for my empty F150 it was ~ 49# psi and increased as I added load
What is your goal for the new tires? The 295/55 are shorter tires than the stock sport 20" tires (32.76" vs 32.99") - so you are getting a slightly shorter tire that is ~ 3/4" wider and pushed out wheel by ~ 2"
Thanks - it does seem the PB has less rake than the other engines - looks good w/o front level, I am still awaiting my truck but think maybe a new strut kit with 1" or lift may be better than a 2" puck lift with this engine (if I don't leave it stock)
Your truck does not have a level correct? Can you measure the rear and front fender height - the truck looks more level than others (including the white truck posted just above) I assume this is due to the Powerboost? I like this look - if there is no interference I am not sure you need a level
Yes that is the tire I am looking at (waiting on truck) probably in the 275/65R20 - nearly 8#'s difference between LT/non-LT in that brand/size, but a common tire many are choosing at 295/60R20 the weight is nearly 20#'s!
I have be contemplating which tire (size/brand) for a bit - down to 275/65r20 or 305/55r20 - key being I can get those in a NON-LT tire to save considerable weight
seems like many folks choose larger/heavier LT tires but then complain about MPG hit - on an F150 I am wondering what advantage...
