The Illinois Farm Bureau page definitely says F150 Lighting are excluded but my Country Company Insurance agent called and said my Lighting purchase shows up on a list of eligible vehicles sent to him by IFB. I guess it won’t hurt to make a call to my dealer and see.
Actually pretty common to pull 2 Anhydrous Ammonia tanks together. You separate the tanks when you hook them up to the implement to apply. The skill comes when you hook the 2 back together to pull them back to reload them. Backing a 4 wheel trailer is an acquired skill. . Depending on the age...
Success. Almost 2 years after reservation I took delivery of my F150 Pro today. A small rural dealership ran by the owner and his son. Absolutely no problems with private offer or holding old pricing. I know there are a lot of horror stories but I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
To get the ER battery upgrade ($10K) you also had to add an addition option package at $10K hence an ER equipped truck was $20K more expensive(round numbers).
I want to install a FCSP in a remote shop without internet.
I don't want the thing constantly trying to log on to a passing by hotspot phone or vehicle. There are multiple situations where connectivity is not desired so back to the OP question can the wifi be disabled
Bottom Line is you have a chose to make. Take delivery of the Ford, purchase a Rivian or wait on the CT. You purchased the Ford with dealer margin included. Is the current dealer system ideal "Hell No" but until people expose the state dealer association bank roll going to the state legislators...
2/13 build week with the last update from Ford on 2/1. No module population, no communication no Ford web order page updates no email nada nothing. Kinda disappointing
That’s interesting that the “private offer” was available on any pro model, not just the one you ordered. I guess I never asked but just assumed the offer was only valid on the ordered truck
I'm in an agriculture area 100 mile south of Chicago. 2 Lightings have been on the dealer lot for at least a month. 85-97K with no gov incentives is a lot for a truck that can basically only be used to tow locally compared to a power stroke. I'm still waiting on my Pro at half those numbers to...
I have a window sticker with a 2/15/23 blend date. Ford website was last updates 2-1-23. For all I know my truck may be the one to burn in the Ford lot.:)
Received Production Date Email Jan 11 2022 for a Pro model that I originally extended a first wave reservation to August 11 reservation invitation. Scheduled week of Feb 13 2023
Rivian has 3 choices
Down size there cost structure and sell niche vehicles for 100k plus
Stop selling consumer vehicles and concentrate on B to B vans and skate boards
Totally reengineer their consumer vehicle to a product they can sell under 80K in volume and make money. Thats going to burn...
Maxx, You hit the nail on the head. I think 50% of the Rivian issues are software related, 40% are management related and the finial 10% are hardware related. My main concern is this, will Rivian be selling vehicles to retail customers in 2-3 years? I think for the company to survive they will...
