It is HIGHLY unlikely that Ford, or any other manufacturer would put out a vehicle for sale that is not fully compliant per statute/state regulations across all fifty states. (unless you get into all of that California emissions stuff).
If I'm understanding you correctly the 2020 Lariat Sport...
I get the rant, the traffic statute book/section in most states is usually massive and details nearly EVERYTHING about vehicle regulations you can think of, and even more that might not occur to the average person.
In my state, most lift kits, headlights/and light bars, extra neon lighting, and...
I elected not to have the spray in bed liner from Ford. The research I’ve done shows that Line-X is a bit thicker, and has a better warranty.
Just a clarifying question. Many of you said the Ford liner doesn’t cover the tailgate? Isn’t that ideal because of the built in holders, ruler, and...
You can with many options, I’m sure. Check your local state law, though. Altering or tinting the headlights is usually a traffic violation in most states.
I don’t anticipate doing much towing, but I wanted the 36 gallon extended range tank, and the 3.55 axle ratio on my build. They cost $445 and $470, respectively. The two would run me $915 as standalone options. The Max Tow Package retails at $1350. So only $435 more, I’d get:
-Integrated...
Here is another source as well. From what I can tell it is a maximum, sustained power rating.
Keep in mind the system on the 2.0 Kw on gas only engines is underneath the rear seat and will prevent you from optioning your truck with the lockable storage. This is one of the reasons I did not get...
Not sure this will go into too much detail on overall payload capacities per model, but this is Ford’s Towing Guide for 2021. A lot of the information in there pertains to the F-150. Hopefully this will tide you over until you can see some payload stickers in person.
I agree with Boiler. There have been several instances so far where I have seen inconsistencies with what the CGI pictures on Ford's Build & Price tool compared to what is actually in person.
For instance, when you equip a Lariat with the 502A High package it will come built with the dual beam...
Wireless charging capability will not be available for the XLT or Lariat for the 2021 model year.
Lack of wireless charging sucks as I mentioned, but I agree. I get too many things on the Lariat model that I want (color, Sport package) that I can't get on King Ranch/Platinum/Limited.
What I...
This one is for an F-150 Lariat SuperCrew with the 3.5L PowerBoost. It had the 7.4Kw ProPower, dual panel moonroof, power deployable, 502A, FX4, and Max Tow packages.
This payload sticker is on an F-150 King Ranch SuperCrew with the 5.0L V8 with the dual panel moon roof, and 2Kw ProPower on board, and power deployable running boards. I'm quite certain with the 601A and the FX4 package.
Good info. I just checked Ford’s National Package Guide that was released to dealers earlier this year. It shows that the 8 speaker B&O system is available on the Lariat on the 500A package, but optional.
It also shows as available on the XLT, but only as optional on the 302A package.
O =...
I’m a bit of an audiophile and I cannot recommend the Bang & Olufsen Unleashed enough. For a stock system, I was thoroughly impressed! You should be very happy with it!
That is possible. It depends on the manufacturer. I’ve seen in the past, car companies will use one speaker brand across the line.
For instance, Bose will offer “premium” systems with more/bigger/better quality speakers as an option, but still use (lower level) Bose drivers and cones on their...
