Yes, check the box. I donāt do much towing (if ever, so far) but the value for me, it was a no-brainer. The 3.55 gears, the 36 gallon tank, the larger rear brakes. I locked my order in back when it was $1,395. The package price was way cheaper than adding those options individually. Even at the...
Nice! Glad to hear! Iām definitely still liking mine. Still hot as hell during peak afternoon times, but nowhere near as hot as it would be without it! Cools down quicker too.
I got Xpelās Prime XR ceramic tint all the way around. 15% on the sides and rear windshield, 70% on the front windshield.
I did a write up on it once it was installed few months back over here ?:

I donāt know. I would hope so, but all auto manufacturers do seemingly silly things with their vehicleās options/packages/colors/features. Iād say the reason they do things like certain interior colors with certain features (and so forth) are cost and/or convenience motivated for them. The F-150...
Not sure how bad it is, but maybe clay bar the area?
Clay bar is supposed to remove all the containments down to the base clear coat so it should help with getting rid of the remaining residue. Be sure to reapply wax or your sealant of choice afterwards so the paint isnāt bare.
EXACTLY!! I loaded my Lariat up, but with how configurable F-150s are there are nearly limitless ways to customize them. With how much it costs, I wasnāt going to settle.
It is preferential, but before we hit peak shortage, I got my F-150 custom ordered the exact way I required and got about $7K off MSRP. It took a little leg work and shopping around, but I finally was able to find a good dealer.
I agree there would be less incentive for dealers to negotiate...
This is one of the few good things to come from this whole worldwide backlog mess.
My F-150 was my first new vehicle purchase, and I was certain I would not find exactly what I wanted on a dealer lot, and I wasn't going to settle or be sold to. I couldn't see the point in spending that kind of...
Ford Will Build Your Next Car to Your Custom Order
By Sean Tucker 07/30/2021 8:45am
Americans are accustomed to buying a car from what the dealership has in stock. We may have a particular car in mind ā a certain color, trim level, and set of optional features. But, for generations, weāve gone...
Ford is just testing the waters for the electric F-150 Lightning ā”ļø. If they went full bore with every trim line the gas F-150 has, that would be a huge risk and financial loss if people didnāt pony up and buy them. The three trim tier they have for it debit year is playing it safe. If the...
Looks like Ford had another event showcasing the F-150 Lightning ā”ļø. Here are some good photos of a Lightning ā”ļø Platinum, and the āFrunkā, and interior!
That is true about getting it to stay sitting right. They can certainly adjust the charging output, but probably have it tuned way down for liability purposes. I wonder if that setting can be modified in FORScan? ?
I wondered if that would be an issue. A lot of the built in charging pads being put in cars leave a lot do be desired charging and speed wise, especially when compared with a USB or USB-C cable.
