I've used it with the obd dongle, paid subscription, and it pops up on the screen with real time battery range data. It's crazy accurate for destination State of charge estimates for trips. I was sure I was going to run out on a trip but it was right on. Pucker factor was high. Now I just trust it.
Thanks! I would go for the upgrades that are most important to you. The cosmetics are in the eye of the beholder. I've since swapped the lariat wheels for aftermarket, but kept them in case I want to go back to a stock look.
Not sure, the rear defrost button on this one activated my headed mirrors. I know they have loaded ones from a platinum ECT that have those buttons and cooled seat buttons as well.
Update, I was able to swap a salvage ice unit with the digital displays for mine. It worked plug and play. The only difference is when I push the air direction button the pop up on the screen is different. No driver focus button or heat disable.
So I got notified of the impa update thru the mail and the Ford pass app. My truck is a 23 pro SR. I've done the adaptive cruise control mod that required Forscan changes to the truck along with adding 4 wires to the harness and installing the radar unit in the bumper. If I have this update done...
It is unfortunately, I think I found it slightly cheaper. Side note I'm not entirely sure you need it. The wheels might stay within spec with the 1.5 inch drop. Might be worth installing the McGaughy's kit and checking before doing the icon camber kit. I didn't check and just had the shop do both.
I'm not 100 sure, I had them shop installed. But I believe after removing the rear shocks you just slip the original spring mounts off and slip the replacements on.
This, says they are for 2004 to 2017 Ice F150 2wd. But they work, myself and a few others have installed them with no issues or change to the factory ride.
Strut Spring Pocket Relocator Brackets...
I haven't driven it enough to notice any efficiency gain. The truck still has an inch and a half of rake. Should be more than enough to haul some weight and not look like a Carolina squat.
Okay got the 2 inch lowering shock spring mounts and Icon camber kit installed. It lowered the rear 1.5 inches, taking half of the rear rake out. The ride is exactly as it was stock. In my opinion it looks much better, raked more like an Ice truck comes stock.
Shout out to @csukoh78 for posting his T200 bronze wheels or I never would have found these. I live close to their head quarters so they took pics with both designs currently offered that fit our trucks. I was told the specs are identical for both. They are very strong and light, stock lariat...
For sure! I'll post pictures and ride feedback. I'm pretty excited to have the truck leveled by lowering the rear. It might have a sight take, we shall see.
