It appears the the Flash model doesn’t have the motion sensors like my Mach-e does. The online manual say where to set it but it’s not in the menu.
Driving with lane following and the screen say keep hand on steering wheel. Hands were on the wheel at the 10-2 position. Grabbed it harder and the truck did the break check thing to startle me. Don’t know where the steering wheel sensor is but something is wrong.
I was going crazy until someone pointed out the driver alertness camera on the right of the steering wheel. If,you are tall and you put your hands in the 10 & 2 positions you will block the camera’s,view of you eyes. I moved,my right hand down below the spoke and didn’t,have the problem...

The cameras they have watching eyes to confirm drive alertness doesn’t understand bifocals. Unless I keep my head up it starts doing the “Watch the road’,warning. I can’t watch the road thru the bottom of my glasses.
