They have a 65k warranty, which is better than some of the other options I considered, good to hear your experience. I've made a couple short trips today and am impressed by the feel relative to stock so far. My drive home from the shop was mostly highway and I was very pleased that they were...
No, Discount Tire. Everyone (except them) is having trouble getting them/keeping them in stock, and I needed them on by today for a trip this weekend. Installed was ~$1500
Went with these for the more aggressive tread and specially the 3PMSF rating. Stuck with the OEM size as I didn't want to give up any more range than I had to, and these are similar weight to the OEM AT option (the Hankook Dynapro AT2s). I'm also keeping the factory rake for the same range...
Anyone found a Lightning specific nose/hood deflector? I've already taken a peice of 2*4 and a large rock to the hood nose, right above the light bar. Would love a little physical protection up there. Not sure if the standard 2022 F150 one would fit...
Anyone had this done yet? How was the experience and/or what was the approximate cost? I was surprised to get the notification, still adjusting to the EV vs ICE expectations. List seems reasonable enough. Haven't looked yet for the full schedule, but curious what the major milestones are.
Here's the stock AT tire option (the Hankook Dynapro AT2) and the upgrade I'm looking at. Given these specs are nearly identical, should be a one for one swap in terms of being consistent with OEM specs? Both 115T and SL.
I'm curious about this as well, but think it's going to be really hard to compare unless the same person can use both sets. I know the stock AS (General Grabber HTS60) weighs 34 lbs each, and the stock AT (Hankook Dynapro AT2) weighs 41, so I was curious how range will differ with those weight...
Anyone seen this on their Lightning yet? Googling turned up some Mach E users that have seen this, something about possibly low 12v battery charge? I got this error after a long day of driving, including off road, gravel road, and highway. I'd plugged in when I got home at about 15%. Got this...
Depends on which route you go- maybe ~$500 for the spacers that go on top of the coils, ~$2000 for adjustable shocks.
I was just calling around today for options/prices. As @Regular150 mentions, the spacers are pretty simple and could possibly be done yourself. I had the spacers on my previous...
Anyone know of/find a manufacturer's official or otherwise certified/tested lift and leveling kits for their Lightning? I've seen most of the posts of people using various options, but doesn't appear any of them are listed on the manufacturer websites as fitting/support the Lightning. I've seen...
Here's is the AS tire and it's specs - https://m.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp?tireMake=General&tireModel=Grabber+HTS+60&partnum=76TR0HTS60XLV2
And the AT - https://m.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Hankook&tireModel=Dynapro+AT2&sidewall=Blackwall+Alternate+Design&partnum=76TR0RF11V2&tab=Sizes
If there are these differences, why are the AT option tires only SL and the AS option XL? Is there something about the AT tires that allows them to be SL, whereas the AS tires have to be XL?
I'm gearing up to upgrade from the stock tires, and in confirming stock tire specs noticed a difference that I'm not sure is material-
All Season (and what I have on my Lariat) - General Grabber HTS60 116T XL, 2756 lbs Max Load
All Terrain (from @Just-another-guy 's post) - Dynapro AT2 115T SL...
I don't drive with 1PD on, but one of those updates substantially changed the aggressiveness of the regen when letting off the accelerator. I was ok with it before, but love it now that I can coast much more smoothly.
