Posted this in @Beans thread about EV driving log issues also, but issues continue- 400 mile round trip trek driven yesterday (Sunday), not showing up at all. But trips from Saturday as well as this morning are...
@Beans I started another thread about a similar issue with the "My EV Driving" logs in FordPass. Mine is missing trips left and right. Worst miss was just yesterday- my wife did a 400 mile round trip trek, and my log isn't showing it AT ALL- shows a few trips from Saturday, and even one from...
How much has your range been impacted by the larger/heavier tires? Were you able to get a good measurement on your typical miles per kWh before the new tires?
@Aminorjourney I noticed in one of your videos that your screen appeared to NOT have the Alexa button/logo at the top? Did you do something to make that happen? I too would love to get rid of it...
I thought I was having an issue with my set schedule, but am doing a bit more testing. I have my home FCSP set to only charge 11pm to 7am with a target of 90%, but when I plugged in last night at about 25% around 9pm it started charging right away. I then got a notification from the app saying...
Oh man, yeah, something way off there, that's too bad. And fair point, especially when I was complaining elsewhere that the My EV Driving log isn't capturing all of my trips in the first place.
In my case, the one I posted originally, it was pretty close/exactly what I was seeing in the truck...
Anyone received their extra kWh or gift card recently? Despite this notice being weeks old now, I haven't heard/seen peep myself- took delivery of my truck 6/28, FCSP showed up 7/11
Thought a thread to share trips we're proud of could be fun. I've got 2500 miles so far and ranging anywhere from 2-2.5 miles/kwh. Today drove up and over a regional mountain range, and thought it was pretty cool to see an estimated nearly 30 miles of regen over a ~100 mile trip. Love to think...
Even at 60 amps I was still getting 1 notification of an error/reset over the course of a multi hour charge period. However last night I charged with the grey plastic cover OFF and it charged for 5+ hours without an error. Fingers crossed, could be a fluke, but seems like a good sign.
I have mine limited to 60 amps, and am still getting at least one error over the course of a 4-5 hour charge. I've not dropped much below 50% before charging back up to 90 the last week or two.
"Then the app asked me to connect the FCSP to FordPass. It opened up the FordPass application with the station name and password all filled in for me. But when I clicked "next", the FordPass app responded "Chargepoint not found!" and after a few retries, it said "too many requests, try again in...
And you're set to 80 on the dial? Have you tried observing it for 5-10 min while charging? If you're having the same issues many of us are, you can watch the trip and reset happen on the FCSP- it'll blink with just the amber light after a trip, to then go back to blue and start charging again
Yeah, same in my truck- not very reliable. I just use the Trip 1 and Trip 2 when I want to know more accuratley.
How about your FordPass app though? Is your EV driving history accurate?
The only other thread I found somewhat related was the difference between the My EV Driving report in the app and the This Trip report in the truck.
My issue is the FordPass app log of trips is missing some trips entirely. There are gaps between logged trips where I definitely drove my truck...
@Ford Motor Company It would be great if you could please clarify this- is the OTA to simply "fix" getting the error messages in the app while charging, or to actually address the cause of the error? I don't think we owners are clear yet on if this is a software or hardware issue with the...
Adding mine to this list. When set to 80 amps, it trips every 5-10 minutes with an "overheated" error message. Ambient air temp is only 75. Once I de-rate to 60 amps, it charges all night no problem. I had to stair step it down from 80 to find something reliable- nothing in between worked for...
