The BMS replacement (23B70) is a 10 minute sensor replacement requiring no programming at all (not even a BMS reset, strangely enough).
But both the 23B57 and 23B50 programs require the powertrain modules to be updated.
So they don't want anybody updating Lightning powertain modules until...
So here's the thing.....WAL was 'enabled' by updating the BCM specifically. So the code that does the 'work' is in the BCM.
Unless the APIM update you got brought you the new Sync UI (with new top row icons) and shows a Sync version of 1122...you won't see the toggle yet.
When you get the Sync...
Yup. That's it.
So I would have thought that those "Anti-Ting" axle devices were standard production items after they figured out what the problem was about this time last year. WTH is that about?
That is the case as of right now...6 May 24.
This appeared in PTS/OASIS this morning:
Which essentially means...don't update your powertrain modules until we put out an updated set.
On another note......those IOTA Engineering, 120Vdc to 12Vdc, 90A Converter/Charger are selling on Ebay for...
A CSP is a Customer Satisfaction Program that offers a corrective fix to customers for a specific concern. Meaning they are reaching out to the customer and notifying them that they have a solution to a problem and want the customer to schedule service to fix it.
The FSA is that action that...
In the MME world they did something similar recently but used a different mechanism to prevent techs from doing the updates. They used the 'nuke option' in FDRS so that all Mach-E powertrain modules (all model years) were coded with a 'data error' symbol which effectively quarantined them from...
Field Service Action.
In this case it means don't do the current powertrain updates because we need to fix the powertrain software first.
I can tell you that those of us who have done the most recent powertrain updates ourselves have been stuck with a daily DTC for the SOBDM and SOBDMC that...
Yes, you have an IPMA update available.
That GWM and TCU should get updated first though.
You've gotten one OTA so far:
I know it says to set a schedule to do updates while you're sleeping...but I've had better luck setting them to update around 0900 in the morning after I've driven the...
This just in...the FSA 23B57 has been put on hold temporarily.
From what I understand it's just until they sort out the powertrain software and release an update.
Message in OASIS this morning:
Thank you Steve this is very helpful.
I will go back out and reconnect and do a network scan.
After I did the updates I was advised that a server backend issue might have been what caused this issue. And apparently after it got tweaked the problem no longer exists.
Does Walk Away Lock work...
1 May 24 and there are three more updates in FDRS this morning.
BCM and the two door modules. This appears for both '22 and '23 MY trucks.
Mine also shows the FHCM from last week.
EDIT: I ran these this morning and started with the doors, then the FHCM and ended with the BCM.
The BCM...
It looks like things went well...I do see where you repeated some of them, but PTS is showing you have no DTCs at present. You have no available updates this morning. I don't know what to say about the chimes. Possibly resetting the IPC?
Yes...I was advised that you could resume doing powertrain updates. But the DTCs will likely still be there until they provide a newer update to address it. It is a benign condition and I'm told it doesn't affect driveability (the SOBDM and SOBDMC DTCs) .
On a different topic, yet another front...
