Folks it's the IPMA update that fixes that. And for 99% of you it's likely an available software update in your FDRS list and could be applied by the dealer tech.
The IPMA software update is the one referred to in the SSM.
I have applied this update (along with the PSCM update that is...
The blank screen for the cameras while you've just started up and are trying to back out of your parking space is the APIM (Sync) unit freezing and having to reboot before showing you anything.
Happens on my '23 quite often, especially when it's warm outside. Has only happened maybe twice on...
Ask @rugedraw to run your VIN and send you the PTS page with the vehicle details. It should show who the owner is and all the info about warranties, in-service date etc. Unless I'm not fully understanding what the problem is here...
I did mine. It later occurred to me that in order to clear the recall they might want the old one back. So last week I dropped by and gave it to one of the service managers and he said he’d clear it. It was gone the next morning when I checked PTS.
You can ask @rugedraw to check out your OTA history to see if anything's been pushed your way....and if something has but failed he may be able to tell you why. I can't see OTA related stuff using FDRS.
Are you looking for something specific? Like the OBCC for example?
You don't currently have a gateway, or APIM (Sync), or TCU update in your list...and most (if not all) of the updates you currently show haven't gone out as OTAs anyway.
And according to your session history the service techs...
So no new exciting APIM update this morning, just another front hatch and HVAC update.
I can't see if I have any OTAs waiting but I have started the truck and will let it run for 30 mins to see if anything downloads.
Fair enough...and after a quick re-read through I did see the 215 mentioned. I'm sure any of our members affected will roger-up when they get the word.
....it's always those pesky nut drivers....always causing trouble.
So only 215 vehicles were built during the 275 days between October 31, 2022 through August 02, 2023?
Or there were just 215 that they know had a problem?
I've read through everything on this CSP again and there's not mention of that requirement. It's a standard mechanic function to disconnect and reconnect the 12V battery.
