Thanks for the detailed report. Very useful info. Sounds like frequent 15m stops are way better than few long stops.
This of course assumes access to 150+ charging availability.
The latest video from Munro Live covering the underbelly of the F150L Platinum.
I'm really looking forward to following this series as they tear it down to its constituent parts.
In this video the inverter above the rear motor is kinda interesting. Can't wait to see them dig into that.
Friendly Ford in Las Vegas, NV assured me that they do not apply any ADM *for orders*. They said that any they get on the lot that are NOT orders will have mark up.
Caveat: I went in to the dealer AFTER i placed my order online. This was in early Sept when I was hearing horror stories about...
It's funny just how much electrical I've learned in recent years as an EV owner.
And yes, a basic tester, and clamp-ammeter/multimeter are always with me.
I'm glad you shared this, because it reinforces that my intended plan is probably a smart course of action (Yay me!).
I was planning on having SunRun install a SPAN panel at the same time as the rest. The span panel is the "smart breakers" solution you speak of, that will auto-shed loads via...
In case no one has suggested it: get a faraday pouch for your fob, so you can leave it inside, lock up, and go.
Also, get a faraday pouch (or box) for your keyfobs at home. That will help prevent relay attacks.
Whatever form of faraday container you get, be sure to test it to verify that...
I've had a Diamondback tonneau on my 05 F350 for about 15 years, and I love it. I can park 2 ATVs on top, and still have the whole bed for storage. I'm planning to get one for my Lightning whenever it eventually arrives. Anyone already done one for their lightning? Any fitment issues...
I always appreciate the dealers that see the opportunity in this approach on the ESP. I bought my 05 F350 6.0 brand new back in January of 05, and added the ESP shortly before the factory B2B warranty expired. And I went for the full boat PremiumCare with zero deductible from a dealer...
It was further down in that thread:

Not to disappoint OP, but to help others, you can get the AMP steps for $400 cheaper on RealTruck if you contact them via this forum (forum discount plus $100...
I think you are right, because those pics feel familiar. I remember thinking that with the stock steps removed and the AMP steps retracted, the truck has a bit of a belly down there!
But going back to that thread, I see that we have a vendor on the forum here that has them for a discounted...
I too was disappointed about the no-option on the auto steps. FWIW, I saw a video recently showing some installed on a new F150L. I can't seem to find the video now. I don't recall whose boards it was, but I recall a SEMA Garage video mentioning that the mounts are standard from an F150, so...
On the ford website. A few days ago, it showed my build week as 10/17, then yesterday, that vanished. I saw other folks in a FB group reporting similar, so it wasn't just me. But I just checked it again this morning, and it is showing 10/17 again. I think it might have just been a website...
Day 1 reservation, invite 9/7, ordered 9/8, build week 10/17. Platinum in Silver.
Then today, it no longer says scheduled for 10/17. Apparently others have had the same.
