Circling back to this, after flipping the Swarfworks Raptor mount, it was still too high for the ultrasonic sensor up front. I ended up cutting off the upper portion of the Swarfworks mount and mounting a BuiltRight Industries license plate bracket I had purchased for my Bronco. So in summary...
Ours (Platinum) hasn't had many issues but some false alerts. The one posted above doesn't have front parking sensors.
The older Swarfworks mounts (I had one for my Raptor) used nuts to hold the bolts so the mount could be inverted in the tow hook. It looks like the current F250 version is...
It's fake and it feels fake. If they're going to have it, at least go with something that feels real! And if they got rid of it, it'd be easier to know which drink in the cupholder is mine/passenger's (change cupholder orientation to horizontal).
This is exacerbated by the mobile charge connector being limited to 30A. It's interesting they give you a powerful, 80A hardwired charge connector but not a 40A mobile charge connector. Tesla is similarly limited to 32A these days, but on a 100 kWh battery max.
And just to echo the gripes...
None of this really answers why Ford thinks they're ok in the Bronco and Expedition, but not the F-150. Edit to add: Ram also doesn't have them in the rear, so wonder whether there's some truck-specific reason (other than that trucks span a ridiculously wide price range per model).
I'd say the pics make VB look "smurfier" than it actually is. Definitely lighter than Atlas, but darker than in the pic.
don’t have the Raptor anymore, but here was Lightning Blue for comparison purposes
We wired ours straight to the battery. Double check that they have the wiring to the light and motor connected correctly - ours was reversed from the factory by Retrax (which we figured out after going through a couple fuses).
Not sure which fridge you have but I have the Dometic CFX3 45 which is under 19" so should potentially fit. Looks like the ARB (per their specs) is bit taller (19.5"). The Dometic for sure fits under my rolltop tonneau (PaceEdwards Ultragroove) on my current Ram (with a Bedrug) and I think the...
Got mine. The photo is dated May 12 (still waiting on the truck, though).
Edit to add: Blend date was also May 12 (pic received June 17). Nice to get this one - they do it for Broncos, too, but mine got missed (they send an email saying sorry we missed yours).
I've been "In Production" since ~May 11; no Built email yet. Tried the chat and was told just now "Your Current ETA reads 'ETA Pending Final Launch Readiness Sign Off Expected Spring 2022.'"
